Kidnapped

    I walk into the office while Ryuzaki was downstairs getting coffee. It was usually empty this time of morning anyway so I go over to my desk and log into my computer, I was working on something from yesterday when I got a notification for a voice message "Hello Light," who is this guy?! How dose he know my name and what dose he want with me? "Light, I want you at my headquarters,I've sent you the location in a different email, don't tell anyone or else, and come alone or I'll have no other choice but to kill your little boyfriend." My heart dropped. How would he know about Ryuzaki? Dose he have him? The video flipped to a clip of Ryuzaki tied to a chair with a depressed yet scared look on his face. How the hell did he get him that quickly? "I want a copy of all of the information on the Kira case .... use your time wisely, Tik.tok.tik,tok" I shut off the computer " GOD DAMMIT" I slam my fist onto the table, causing a empty coffee mug to fall onto the floor and shatter.

   I grab my coat and opened up the email to find the address. I write it down and slip the paper into my back pocket. I pull the keys off the hook and rush out the door. I promised him. I'm not letting him down, I can't. I make it out to my dads car and put the address in my JPS. It was a short ride there but every second the image popped into my mind, what if this is a trick? What if they already killed him and I'm giving my life away?

    I gulped hard when the thought crossed my mind. I arrive at the location but see nothing, it's just an old warehouse, abandoned and deserted. Cliché but bone chilling "What the hell...?" I whisper under my breath. The door opens and I see a man wearing a dark mask and coat step out and gesture me to the door. I follow inside assuming this is where I'm supposed to be.

   I hear chains clattering and instantly tense up. "Why hello Light" a figure steps out of the shadows. It was a guy with blond hair to his shoulders and choppy bangs laid over his forehead .He was wearing all black with a small silver chain hanging around his neck.

He pulls a half eaten chocolate bar out of his pocket and unwraps it, he takes a bite and smirks at me. "Light, do you have what I asked for?" I pull out the papers and hand them to him."here, now where is Ryuzaki?!" He takes the papers and studies the first page "Oh right" he says, not removing his eyes from the paper. He snaps and I hear chains clattering again. I looked around but could bing see anything. Ryuzaki slips from the darkness and runs over to me with tears running down his cheeks. I hug him tightly. We were pushed out the door by the same man that brought me in here. Ryuzaki was still crying a little and it made me fear what they did to him.

    He still had his arms wrapped around my chest, I kiss his forehead "shh shh it's ok, it's ok" he looks up at me, " I keep my promises it won't happen again " he straightens his back and intertwined our fingers. I lean my head towards his face and kiss him gently. Short but sweet. Ryuzaki pulls away and has a blank look on his face "I think I'm in love with you" I smirk at him "yea, no shit" I hugged him tightly, rubbing my hand on his back after I pulled away.We climb back into my dads car and drive back to the station.

   On the way there I had my arm wrapped around his shoulders. He eventually fell asleep so I just turned on the radio in the car to listen to he news. "We'd like to inform you that private police investigations on the Kira case have been leaked. Our society is changing for the worsts or better? Back to the weather for now!" I sighed flicking off the radio. Great, I'm the reason Kira is gonna get what he wants. But I wasn't about to let Ryuzaki go, no way in hell would I do that. He means everything to me. He shuffles around in his seat when we got back.

    I tried waking him up but he wouldn't budge. I pick him up bridal style and carry him into the office. "Hey Light, made a new friend haha" Matsuda laughs. "Huh?" I look down at Ryuzaki "oh yea well it's a long story." I muttered putting Ryuzaki in his chair and placing my coat over him.

   Once everyone got there I told them the whole story. But obviously left out the part that Ryuzkai was my boyfriend. They all started to look for more evidence in the evidence lockers to see what matches up to the notes left form Kira and from this guy.

    I just hope that he doesn't find out his real name. Maybe I can do my own private investigation. I still have the address of that shady warehouse. I'll make sure that whatever that scumbag is using to kill people, is destroyed... forever.
