Izzy P.O.V
I woke up very early the next morning to get ready for college. Took a shower and got dressed I wore my black and white converse, tank top, and my white bag.(outfit at top). Went downstairs breakfast had already prepared so I just ate away. Did I mention that i love food?My little sister was on the floor in the living room playing with her dolls while my mom was reading today's newspaper in the living room.
Mom is carrying me to school today; I went into the living room and told mom that I was ready for college. She was already ready so we just walked outside together and then into the car.
In the car mom and I had small talks about random stuff until we arrive at school. She went in with me; we headed straight to the principal's office. We exchange good morning with each other and talked about the rules and other boring stuff which I completely block out.
"So if you agree with these terms please sign here Mrs. MacFarlane" said the principal.
Without hesitation my mom sign the papers it was now my turn to sign, I did what was expected of me to do sign the papers. After signing the principal stated "You know if you don't abide by these terms you will suffer great penalty Miss Isabella MacFarlane" I said "Yes I know". With that said she handed my schedule to me and we were now able to leave.
"Am going back home to get Anna ready school then go to work. You now have a good day" mom said.
"OK mom, thanks for everything" I said
"I will let one of the drivers come pick u up from here later. Bye love you darling" mom said kissing my left cheek.
I hugged her goodbye she then left. I took a look on my class schedule to see where I had my first class. I went in search for it and as soon as found it; I sat in the middle of the class the teacher wasn't here as yet. So I decided to play a few games on my phone.
I soon heard a group of students saying something like the teacher wasn't here today, I know you're not to listen to rumors but I was getting a bit frustrated just sitting here doing nothing really . I sighed the first day of school and you are not here. I then heard a few mumbles saying that he is normally not here. With that I took up my belongs and went in search of the library.
I walked past a classroom only to hear sniffing as if someone was crying. I stopped only to see a girl around my age crying.
"Hey, what happen to you? I asked.
She looked up at me "How long have you been here for" she said looking furious at the same time scared.
"Enough to see you crying" I said.
I bend down to her level and started hushing her only causing her to cry more. After about fifteen minutes of crying nonstop she finally stopped.
"Do you want to talk about it? I asked
She shook her head no "It will make you feel better I promised" I said trying to convince her to opened up to me.
She smiled weakly and there she began her story "I am Cassandra Marla Anderson, I used to live with my mom and dad am the only child. They got separated ten months ago I don't actually know the real reason but based on what I saw I think my mom found a rich guy and ran off with him and left me with my father. From the moment she left the house my father started abusing me, blaming me that am the reason she left him for that man. He would say am the reason he doesn't have any money to take care of my mom that is why she left. He would use the very little he had on me to take me to the doctor because I have asthma it's not that bad though. So last month he threw me out of the house saying am no use. And now I don't have anywhere to go, I have been living on the campus since then I am not registered to stay here but I try not to get caught." She whispered the last part in tears.
"Oh my God, I am so sorry to hear all that, I'm Isabella MacFarlane. And you are coming home with me I will explain everything to my parents and they will happily take you in as their own" I said." No I can't possible do that we literally just met" she said. "Yes I can and I will surely do that" I said with a big smile she then smiled at me.
"Someone needs to freshens up" I said smiling, she just nodded her head and we headed for the bathroom and for the rest of the day we went to class together except one. It was now time to go home. As mom promised she sent a driver for me. Cassandra and I entered the car and headed home.
