It All Started With A Drunken Text

Chapter 7: Lonely Day

Isabella P.O.V

I woke up early Monday morning to get ready for college, went to Cassandra room to wake her up only to hear coughing from inside her room. I opened the door only to hear Cassy inside the bathroom coughing more loudly.

She came out and saw me and said "Morning Izzy I don't think I can go to college today, plus the coughing is worse than yesterday. I think my asthma is attacking me." She said.

"Really I taught you would recover already" I said.

She went over to her bed and wrapped up back in her blankets, I left to get ready. After getting ready I went down stairs to get breakfast. Half way through my breakfast mom asks me why Cassy wasn't down I told her that she was still coughing and her stomach is hurting, knowing my very concern mother she ran back upstairs and into Cassy's room.

The next five minutes I saw Cassy and mom coming down already dressed as if they were going out.

"Darling I'm going to take Cassy to the doctor" mom said.

"Cassy baby go get something to eat" she said to Cassy.

"OK am heading out  for college, Dave is waiting for me" I said then bid them good bye.

I walked to the front door and headed for the BMW vehicle that Dave drove. I entered the car and said "Good Morning Dave, how are you today?" He drove off then replied with a sigh and said "Good Morning to you too am just tired that's all" "OK am heading to the college" I said. "I know, um where is Cassandra isn't she going to college today" he asked once again he gets nervous. "Nope she isn't she is very sick" I said simply. "What happen to her, is everything OK with her, how long have she been sick for? "He asked now am curious why is he so concern about her.

As I was about to answer his questions I arrived at college. "Later we will continue this conversation" I said he just nodded his head and exited the car and headed for my first lecturer class. I sat at my normal seat right next to the window in the middle end of the classroom.

I had one of the most boring classes Literature. The teacher came in and said "turn to page 180 and read straight through to page 196 and write an essay about the themes, use of language, literary devices and meaning of what you have read, its due in the next hour and a half" she said. With that said everyone started murmuring and complaining. "I would advise you all to begin working and stop the complaining it won't help you" she said looking on the clock on the wall.

******Time Skip*****

It was now lunch time, I sat down to eat my lunch I just took a few bites just then my phone vibrated through my shorts pocket. I took out my phone only to see it was a message from Aaron. I didn't think twice to opened the message, I guess I don't have anything else to do I feel a little bit boring and lonely.

Hi Bella, it's been a while now I last spoken to you Aaron texted.

Well I have to admit that's true I replied. 

So how is everything with my babe?? He replied.

Am just gonna pretend you didn't just called me that I replied.

??? He replied.

Am good and you I replied.

Am stressed He replied.

Am at college now and am on lunch and I literally have 6 minutes to eat lunch so I replied.

So what..........i don't have your mouth to eat he replied.

Well am trying to eat I replied.

Can't I video call you tonight he replied.

Am choking I replied.

Why?? I really want to see how you look he replied.

Stop choking me I replied.

I only imagine how you look; I need to stop imagining he replied.

I will think about it I replied.

With that last message sent I went straight to my next class. The rest of the day was simply boring went to my different classes and I was currently in my last class five more minutes left for class to up. Finally the class was up I head straight for the door and there I saw Dave car, I headed towards the car.

"Hey!" I said cheerfully. He didn't reply.

"So about this morning" I said.

"Do we really have to go down that road again?" he said.

"Yes" I said.

"Can we go somewhere to eat and talk" he said.

"Sure, I didn't even eat my lunch properly so that will be great" I said.

"How about MacDonald's" he said.

"Where are we going... to MacDonald's" I sing soon he joined in with me, we are so childish.

He parked the car and we entered MacDonald's sat around a table towards the back, shortly after we ordered our food.

"So is there anything you want to tell me" I said.

"Promise me you won't tell her" he said a little too serious. Our food came and we started eating in silence.

"I think am in love with Cassandra" he said suddenly. I spun around to face him and said "As in my friend Cassandra" I said he shut his eyes closed and nodded his head. "Is it so hard to believe, I know what you're thinking please don't, I fell in love with her the very first day I saw her." He goes on and on about his feelings for her and I can tell he's pretty much in love with her. He ended with "You know how hard it was for me not to kiss her fingers the last few days she placed her fingers on my lip shushing me"

"I think you are pretty much crazy for her" I said smiling.

"You don't understand, she can't know about my feelings for her" he said seriously.

"Don't you think she will find out sooner or later" I said

"I will confess to her but not now, I don't want to risk losing my job just for my stupid feelings I don't even know how she feels about me" he said

"You may never know" I said. We quickly finished eating and we payed then left.

"Remember please don't tell her, tell her hi though" he said.

"You better tell her quick or else I will do" I said smiling.

"OK bye" he said. I nodded and headed towards the house.
