Aaron P.O.V
It was now quarter to 6pm and Isabella hasn't replied back to my message as yet. I was wondering to myself if I was taking things between us a little too fast. I just want to get to know the person that captured my heart.
I decided to check on my mom, I knocked on her bedroom door but there was no respond. My breath started hitching me and I busted open the door she was nowhere in sight. I rushed downstairs only to see her with her best friend Dylan's mother laughing and talking.
“Good evening Aunty Dell” I said
“Hey Aaron how are you?” she said smiling
“Am good and you?” I replied
“Am great” she said, just then my phone started ringing looking on the caller ID I realized its Dylan so I excused myself and went upstairs so that I could picked it up.
“Hey bro, where are you?” he said
“Home” I said
“Meet me at Mia's Bakery Café right now” he said sternly
“Isn't that a little too late” I said not wanting to go anywhere.
“Am on my way to pick you up” he said before I could even start complaining he hung up the phone. What could be so important? I got dressed anyway and headed downstairs.
“Aaron and I are just going out to catch up on a few things” I heard Dylan
“Mom, Aunty Dell I will be leaving will be back as soon as possible” I said.
Dylan and I walked outside and into his car in silence and there he sped off. “So what was so important that you wanted to talk about? I asked.
“Can't you wait, we are almost there” he said.
I exited the car and there we headed inside the Café and took a seat near the back. “So remember the girl I was talking about that I met back in Dubai”
“Yeah what about her” I was getting really confused at the moment
“I have been communicating with her ever since I got back and for some reason I think am in love with her” he said looking serious
“So what that got to do with me” I said drinking my cup of coffee, I really don't want to be here now.
“She made a big sacrificed to move in with me” he said looking on me.
“Wow bro you barely know her” I said
“If you asked me I know pretty much know everything about her. I have been talking to her none stop for the past couple of weeks” he said. He is serious about it I can tell by the look in his eyes yea u could see pure love in them.
“So what did you tell her?” I asked
“I'll think about it” he said simply.
“Doesn't she live with her parents or sibling or something” I said
“That's the thing her mom die and her father abandoned her and now she is homeless And she has a brother but she doesn't know anything about him more than the fact that he ran away when her mother died” he said his eyes getting watery.
“Dude so you actually considering taking her in” I said. Hearing her story I would definitely take her in too. He simply nodded his head.
“But I haven't spoken to my parents about her as yet. Although I will let her stay at my place instead of their home so what do you think I should do” he said tears slipping from his eyes I have never seen Dylan this weak about a girl before.
“I think you should talk tightly to your parents about it and then take her in” I said and then went closer to him and hugged him patting his back assuring him that everything is going to be alright.
After about fifteen minutes of breaking down he was now recover from his break down and stuff.
“So what's up with your life” he said smiling as if nothing had happened before.
“What can I say I have been going through a lot lately.” I said
“Such as” he said
I told him everything about Isabella without thinking twice; I even include my personal feelings into it.
“Bro and you didn't care to tell me about this sooner” he said smiling at me.
“I needed to figure out a few things on my own” I said simply. We talked about her for quite a while before he changed the topic from my girl to his.
“So am planning on telling my parents tomorrow morning during breakfast and then the day after I leave for Los Angeles with you” he said giving me a toothy grin.
“I didn't sign up for this” I said. “I would never believe that we both would be in love, especially you” I said pointing at him.
