The Specialist of Omegalas : vol 1

Background

Long ago the land of Omegalas was protected by the four families. The four families each ruled over the land and protected the people from the many dangerous deamons of the world. The four families were able to achieve this goal through the fifty-two powers. The fifty-two powers were fifty-two unique abilities that the families were blessed with. Each power was contained in a card and each card had a symbol and a number. The numbers ranged from 2-10, then the order was jack , queen , king , and ace. There were four symbols, a diamonds, a clover , a spade , and a heart. Each family was represented by a symbol and the thirteen members of each family who received a card was known as a "Specialist. " These Specialist kept the peace in Omegalas, keeping the monstrous deamons at bay, but one day a new threat arrived. A masked man who seemed to be able to control the deamons appeared and started a war with the kingdom of the four families. They seemed powerless in the wake of the newcomers power, but after a decisive battle that took every Specialists, they were finally able to stop the madman, giving up their lives in the process. After the fight, surviving members of the four families sent people to collect the fifty-two cards containing the powers, only to discover they were no where to be found.
After this discovery the four families spoke with each other and decided to divide the land amongst themselves to rule over as they could no longer protect everyone as a whole in the same manner as before without the powers. Thus the creation of the four nation was born. To the north, the largest of the four, was the Diamond Kingdom. On the eastern side of the continent surrounded on all sides by either mountain or sea is the Spade Kingdom. The Club Kingdom was located on the southern side of the continent. In the center of the continent touching borders of the Diamond Kingdom and the Club Kingdom was the Heart Kingdom. These four agreed to rule separately but also believed it was smart to stay in good relations with one another and decided to help each other as they saw fit. While the specialist were gone, a small amount of their power was passed on to the respective citizens to help protect their people. Each kingdom created their own force to repel and protect their citizens from the daemons. Each kingdoms tactics differed and with these plans in motion the people of Omegalas were able to live somewhat peaceful lives as they rebuild after the war.
