The school day was boring. Basically it was just the same old shit just different days. As the final bell rang I gathered my things and headed to my locker.
Right as I was about to open my locker the high school cutie, captain of the football team, #1 player, Jake Hestler, came up to me with a big smile on his face.
"Leah." He wrapped his arm around me, embracing me in a hug.
I stood there awkwardly. I was so confused. What the hell is going on?
"Uh...Jake? Can I ask what you're doing and why are you here at MY locker?" He just tilted his head back and laughed softly.
"Oh Leah! Beautiful, stupid, stupid Leah."
"Jake I don't have time fo-
"Go on a date with me." He had demanded rather then asked.
"No."
"Please? Just one date babe." I looked down and felt his eyes burning holes into the back of my head.
"Okay. 1.) Don't call me 'babe'. And 2.) I'll give you my number and we can talk about this later. Bye Jake!" I said after I had given him my number.
With that being said, I grabbed my bag and slammed my locker.
FINALLY! The day was over and I didn't have to deal with that stupid jock who just so happened to be Jake.

The walk home wasn't so bad. I knew my mom would be working late tonight since she obviously didn't pick me up.
Once I entered my warm, cozy home I grabbed my phone out of my bag and looked to see if I had any notifications. I had a text. From the one and only Jake Ryan Hestler.
Unknown: heyy leah(; guess whoooo¿
Leah: oh joy -_- hi jake.
Unknown: come on babe..don't be like that <3
Leah: I'll act however I want Jacob Ryan Hestler.
Unknown: woah now! No need for full names!!
I just read the text and never answered. He can be so annoying and cocky sometimes. But, I'll admit it. I use to have the biggest crush on him when we were younger. Key word: use to.
I wonder if he's a good kis- STOP IT LEAH!!! Do NOT think like that!!!
I was pulled out of my thoughts by my mom walking through the door?
What..?
"Mom?"
She just smiled towards me. "Hey sweetheart. How was school?"
"You know. Same old, same old. Nothing new. How was work? Why are you home so early? Did anything ba-
"Okay! I just got home you can question me later when were at Soldier Field." I stood up in shock. I completely forgot.
