Chapter two.

Jase prov.

I watched her walk up the stairs. Cody and shawn turned towards me instantly when she was out of ear shot.

" I thought you said she was chubby, girly and innocent. We were going to have to act like that since you said that. But we walk in and theirs a total babe. Blonde hair blue eyes. Kind of tan. Then she asks for her cigarettes and she goes off on you. What's going on." Shawn asked. I put my head in my hands.

" she has bruises all over her body. When she first got here she looked happy until I hugged her. She cringed from the touch and silently cried out in pain. I let her go and asked her about it but she lied and said it was nothing. She got a call and then the guy was begging her to come back. Saying he would find her and all this stuff. Then she told me that she only considered even going to college two days ago. She called the dean and he rushed her here even though theirs like a two year wait. Said they were eager to have her here that they sent letters to her. A guy named Lukas apparently got mad but then she stopped talking. She went outside and randomly lit up a cigarette. I told her if she didn't tell me what was going on I'd bring dad in this.

Turns out she lived alone with a friend in an apartment. Then she said she was the reason the town didn't burn to the ground already. Then she's on the phone and we a hear that." I said in a pained voice.

" I think she's somehow in trouble." I said. The guys looked shell shocked.

" then why is she here?" Cody asked.

" from the sounds of it. She ran away and is trying to to hide from

People. I think I found out the first one but theirs more to it." I said. They nodded.

" we'll is this something to report to the alpha? He runs this school and if theirs trouble. Even if it's human he'd want to know." he said. I shook my head.

" I don't know if she's human or not. She has so many emotions. Most of its anger but she keeps it pent up no matter what. It's like she doesnt even know she's doing it. I did that before my change to." I told them. They nodded.

" yes we know. You were an angry

Son of a bitch. But you were rude to everyone without knowing. You're sisters back and forth about it." Shawn said. I nodded.

" I'll go and inform sean about what I've heard. I think you guys should wait for her to get out of the shower and come down so you guys can talk. Act like you know nothing. That won't be a problem though because I'm still pissed off about how much she's changed. She told a guy over the phone that she's smoked drank and huffed before. What the hell am I supposed to do about that. Then she gets in without a problem here and I need to find out why. This is just not adding up." I told them. They nodded.

I left them and walked across campus fast. I dove into the edge of the woods and jogged to his house. I walked in and went to our office. I walked in.

" hey jase what's up? Aren't you supposed to be with you're sister today?" Sean asked. I sat down.

" if that was just so easy." I said with a huff and slumped back into the chair.

" I thought you said she was bubbly and funny and carefree. A normal girly teenager." he asked looking up from the desk and raising an eyebrow. He saw my distraught face and became serious.

" It seems as if I mis calculated. Shes the total opposite now. I don't even know how she got into this school because all she did was call the dean two days ago saying she was interested." and with that I told him everything. From her walking up to me to her walking up the stairs.
