Noah's POV

I ended up sat on a bench near Anne Frank's house, which looked over into the canal. Keane and then Angelo had made me feel much better.

   "What are you doing sat here alone? Where are the others?" A voice came, it was Brody,

"I ran off" I told him,

   "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine now. It was nothing," he looked at me,

   "Are you sure?" I smiled,

"I'm sure and I'm sure the gang will be grovelling at my feet when they find me,"

   "Don't you think you should text them and say where you are," I rolled my eyes,

"Yes boss," I teased, he smiled,

    "We're just sorting out the tour, so be outside in 10 minutes okay," I nodded,

"Thank you,"

   "Any time kid," once he'd walked off I then heard,

"NOAH...HE'S HERE. I'VE FOUND HIM," Zuri's booming voice, she ran over and wrapped her arms around me, "Don't run off again, we've been so worried," Harlun came over, he had a forlorn face,

    "I'm sorry that I offended and upset you. It wasn't my intention and I wasn't implying anything either...I..."

"It's okay, I over reacted,"

   "But I shouldn't have..."

"Honestly it's cool, come here," I hugged him, "Let's forget it never happened and continue to have an amazing few days in the Dam',"

    "We bought you an ice cream," Bryleigh said smiling, I couldn't help but laugh, "We know it's cold but it's so good"

"Thank you, I could never turn down an ice cream"

"I want everyone to take a moment before we enter, for those of you who are not familiar of Anne Frank, she was a young Jewish girl who was forced to go into hiding during the second world war in order to escape from the Nazis. She hid with 7 other people in the secret annex that was located behind the house. They managed to hide for 2 years before being discovered and were sent to a concentration camp, Anne's father was the only survivor," Jeff said, "Making Anne's diary that she wrote whilst hiding, known to the world,"

   "Shit," one guy said,

"Cool shit,"

It was busy, very busy. I heard almost 1.3 million people from all over the globe visited Anne Frank's house, which is incredible. There was so much to read, so many things to listen to.

"So they moved from Germany to Amsterdam to start a new life away from Hitler and the growing hatred of Jews" Zuri said,

   "Yes, because the Netherlands didn't want to be involved in the war, until German soldiers invaded the country and they surrendered themselves and were therefore occupied by the Germans," I answered,

"Idiots!" Harlun explained, "Why did they roll over and let their tummy be tickled? America would have never done that,"

   "After that shit hit the fan, Anti-Jewish regulations were put in place, Jewish only schools, Jews businesses were shut down and it was just a bad time to live if you were a Jew," Bryleigh said.
