Song for chapter is Can't Help Falling In Love by Kina Grannis<<<
It was 11am when I woke up yawning and Keane was still asleep so I quietly got out of the bed and left our room. I found Mum in the sitting room sat drinking a cup of tea watching TV,
"Morning darling," she said, "Sleep well?"
"I think so," I yawned, she laughed, "Where's Forrest?"
"Gone to pick up his sister, I wasn't feeling up to it right now as we're going out for afternoon tea at 2.30pm,"
"So Keane and I have to tube it but Forrest's sister gets picked up at the airport, I see how it is,"
"No, Eliah flew to Stanstead which is a 20 minute drive away, that is the only reason,"
"Yeah yeah whatever Mum," I teased, she smiled,
"I'll make you some breakfast,"
"No we can make our own, not that I'm hungry, might make us a coffee and take it upstairs if that's okay?"
"No need to ask, do as you please, don't mind me. As long as you are ready to leave for 1.50pm,"
"Okay, when's Forrest back with his sister?"
"Probably half past twelve,"
"We'll be presentable by then," I went to the kitchen and figured out how to work the coffee machine and headed up with two filter coffees.
Keane was led naked like a starfish on his tummy, he turned his head and grinned. I almost dropped the coffees. He sat up looking at me,
"Morning,"
"Put some clothes on,"
"Are you sure you want me to do that?" He asked, biting his lip,
"Yes," I threw him some pants,
"Spoilsport,"
"Good to see you in high spirits this morning," I said kissing him then handing him a mug and sitting on the sofa.
"Thank you, pain free," he said taking a sip, "What's new?"
"Forrest is out picking up his sister from the airport"
"Like that is it," Keane said and I smiled,
"That's what I said,"
"We are going for afternoon tea and have to be ready for 1.50pm,"
"Sounds fun," Keane answered mid sip,
"Have you spoken to Noah?"
"Not yet it's 4.30am there, I'll text him before we leave and catch up with them later,"
"What do you think Eliah will be like?" I asked taking a sip,
"Sure she'll be fine," he answered but seemed preoccupied,
"What's going on in your head right now babe?"
"Nothing," he answered too quickly, "And this time here is all about you, not me,"
"Don't go playing that card on me and don't go thinking I've forgotten about what was said on the tube here," I told him,
"Can't remember,"
"I can and that conversation isn't over,"
"Whatever," he said with a smile.
We showered and then got dressed and made it downstairs around midday ish.
