Summary :-

Jeon Taehyung and Park Jimin had been dating since the beginning of the university, it's only during the last semester when Jimin talked to his father about marrying Mr. Jeon's son not knowing Taehyung was Mr. Jeon's adopted son while his real son Jungkook was in the USA, studying. After finding out he was engaged to the wrong person, Jimin tried to find Taehyung to fix the misunderstanding only to hear Taehyung wanted him to marry Jungkook instead.

Third Person's P.O.V :-

"Taehyung!" Jimin called out as he ran after Taehyung, who was fixated on avoiding him at any cost,"Taehyung!" He called out again as all the other occupants, passing through the hallway of the university dorm, glanced at them, whispering among themselves.

Jimin followed him, skipping over multiple steps of the stairs, climbing flight after flight, till they reached the floor where Taehyung's room was situated at and finally heaved a sigh of relief as he watched the other jarring the key in the lock in frustration, trying his best to unlock the old rusty lock of his room.

Jimin stood up properly as he watched Taehyung lose his calm over an old door lock with sad eyes, clearly the other had planned on slamming the door shut on his face and not associating with him further. It made Jimin's heart hurt.

Taehyung did not want to be with him. He had been ignoring him for weeks, it drove Jimin crazy. Even now, despite of calling out his name multiple times, Taehyung hadn't looked at his way once.

Jimin gritted his teeth and took rushed steps towards Taehyung. Taehyung looked up in alarm at the loud steps echoing through the empty floor and within moments found himself slammed against the wall beside the door.

"Jimin, stop." Taehyung immediately demanded as he struggled and tried to push Jimin away from himself.

"Why, Taehyung?" Jimin asked as he hugged him tightly, refusing to let go,"What have I done? Why are you avoiding me?" He asked in a vulnerable tone as his grip kept on getting tighter around Taehyung's frame.

"You're engaged to my brother, that's what you've done!" Taehyung yelled and kept on struggling inside Jimin's hold.

"It wasn't me!" Jimin protested,"I wanted you! I always wanted you, Jeon Taehyung! I wanted to spend my life with you not with your brother!" Jimin exclaimed with knitted brows and observed how Taehyung stopped struggling inside his hold.

"I told dad that I wanted to get married to Mr. Jeon's son, how was I supposed to know that you had a brother!" Jimin whispered again in a sad voice as he caressed Taehyung's cheek while the other faced away from him.

"Jungkook is a really nice guy..." Taehyung whispered feeling a little guilty,"He'll be able to keep you happy, Jimin" He softly added, still facing away.

"BUT I DON'T WANT HIM, TAEHYUNG! DON'T YOU GET IT?! HOW CAN YOU BE SO OKAY WITH THIS?! DON'T YOU LOVE ME?!" Jimin yelled on the brink of losing his mind.

"I do!" Taehyung confessed with clenched eyes,"I do, alright?! But..." He slowly opened his eyes and looked back at Jimin,"But I love my brother more and he likes you..." Taehyung whispered in misery.

Jimin's pupils started to shake due to disbelieve,"Are you seriously doing this to me, Taehyung...?" He whispered out, stunned to his core.

Taehyung looked down,"I'm sorry, Jimin...I'm really sorry...please marry my brother, he really likes you" He uttered with a heavy heart.
