I just stared at Jisoo-Unnie bewilderingly. In that instant my skin became greyed, my mouth hung with lips slightly parted and my eyes were as wide as they could stretch. My brain formulated no thoughts other than to register that I was literally—shocked. That was how I felt now, trying to remember how to breathe, unable to speak, totally stunned as the date of this day bounced around inside my skull."Tell me this is just one of your non-humorous puns, Jisoo-unnie, please!"
I implored myself as my shoulders fell cripplingly on the unanticipated revelation, as if the cosmos' sweeping issues had gone wilted on them. Jisoo-Unnie heaved a lungful of dismayed sigh as she shook her head. I squeezed my eyes shut, tilted my head back, and roosted my hands over my face in a frustrating manner.
"We knew you wouldn't remember..." I heard Chaeyoung aside, but I was too preoccupied with my own troubled thoughts. Where did Lisa go? "That's why Jisoo-Unnie and I decided to visit you."
"We thought Lisa would be here as well."
"No..." I rubbed my hands over my face, reasonably disheartened as I heaved a lungful of angst-ridden sigh. "She left this room before I could even ask her."
"Yah~... Mandeuk, you don't have to pull off that sad-dumpling face though..." Jisoo-unnie pulled me into her embrace and I automatically held her waist, laying my head on her soft breasts. "It isn't your fault if you don't remember today's supposed date, and Lisa surely understands that."
