I guess this is what people call heaven,
Because this is a place that I have never been.
I know hell way to well!
But now there is no more of that awful man that lived in hell!
Is this what it feels like to be free?
Who knew how beautiful it can be!
I hope my friend knows that I tried to escape that night!
But the man was angry from a fight!
I tried scratching his eyes out so I can leave-
However, something happened that you won't believe.
I was so close but he grabbed me by my tail,
And I remember every single detail.
His words cut deeper than the knife digging into my skin,
I was very confused because after telling me those words he gave me a lovely grin.
Now I was gasping for air and my paws couldn't do to much damage,
That put me at a disadvantage.
The smell of liquor filled the air,
It all happened so fast because next thing you know I was at a place but didn't know where.
