Pliny's hands are shaking as he opens the white and heavy envelope. He found it at his doorstep just now. The handwriting is neat and straight: it was clearly written with precision.
Dear Pliny,
Firstly, my condolences to you an your family, your uncle was a great man. I heard he died in an attempt to save a friend, during the volcanic eruption, just a year ago. His story is the story of a hero, but he did not live long enough to see his glory. I am willing to give him just that. Currently, I am working on some project, in which the heroic story of your uncle's death could be featured.
Please contact me if you're accepting my offer, just write me a letter (my address is on the back) or DM me on Instagram (@TacitusOfficial).
Looking forward to hearing from you.
TacitusPliny almost has a seizure. Tacitus just wrote him! He actually got a letter from the greatest writer of this generation! Reading the last few lines over and over again, he chuckles. As if he doesn't know Tacitus' Instagram account. Pliny just stared at the same selfie he took for about three hours and only stopped because he heard the postman deliver this letter. He sits down at the table and picks up a pen: time to start writing.

A/NUnlike 'Too powerful', this story is set in the modern world, it is, of course, still based on Pliny and Tacitus' story, 2000 years later.
