"I don't love you anymore." Were the words that came out of Taehyung's mouth.

"Why?" I started tearing up. "What happened?"

"What do you mean?" Taehyung questioned.

"To what used to be us." I broke down as soon I said that. Tears were running down my face. I couldn't control myself anymore.

"I don't even know anymore. It all happened so quickly." Taehyung said.

"Please. Tell me." I begged.

"It was maybe two?—two days after your friend Nessa came over. There was a trainee at our company wanting more tips and advice with singing, dancing, et cetera. So, I told her we should meet up, since I had nothing to do." Taehyung played with his fingers.

"What was her name?" I was scared to hear the answer.

Nessa

Nessa

Nessa

"Her name was Soori. Beautiful name." He answered.

What?

"What about Nessa?" I asked.

"What about her?" Taehyung looked at me confused.

"Didn't you—you cheat on me—with her?" I struggled to say.

"She has nothing to do with this story." Taehyung clarified.

I nodded.

"I spent the next few days with Soori. I spent so much time with her that—that I soon fell in love with her. And realized, she was the one for me—not you." He said.

Wow. What a way to say it.

"We talked more and more. I soon lost my connection towards you. I didn't feel close to you anymore. I stopped texting and calling you. I really fell hard, didn't I?" Taehyung continued. "Right when I was with her, I knew it was wrong. But I just couldn't stop myself. Even though I wanted too, so bad. I hated myself for it. But I know that with Soori. I'll forgive myself one day." Taehyung sighed and paused for a but. "There was no cheating, I swear. We didn't do anything."

"Oh really?" I rolled my eyes.

"Well maybe we did kiss a few times—but that's all" Taehyung said.

I cried even more than I already did. "Do you regret what you did?" I asked while sobbing, hoping for a good response.

"I'm sorry, but no. At the time I did, losing you. I mean you were some what special. But Soori—." Taehyung answered. "I'm glad I found her."

I shaked my head in denial. "No—No. You love me Taehyung. You're in love with me. You don't love Soori. I'm the love of your life." I held Taehyung's hand tightly and put on head on his chest, which was now wet because of my tears. "Please say you love me. Please say that this is just a stupid prank. Pinch me and tell me that this is a horrible nightmare."

"I'm sorry. I wanted to stop, but I love her, Y/N" Taehyung whispered. "I just don't love you anymore."

That's it. I left. I flipped him off and ran out.

As I was leaving the hospital, I saw a familiar figure waiting. Yoongi?

"H-Hey Yoongles." I went beside him.

"How'd it go?" Yoongi asked very dully.

"I can't believe I begged you to bring him to the hospital." I rolled my eyes.

"Me neither." Yoongi chuckled. "Look at you. Drenched in tears.." He sighed. "I told you, Y/N—"

"L-Look. Can I just stay at your place for the time being?" I asked. "Sorry for being a dumb bitch."

"Of course. But stop being a dumb bitch" Yoongi gave me a gummy smile. "Can we just pretend like—like I didn't confess earlier? I think we should just be friends, for now" He winked.

"That's probably a good idea. I'm honestly done with this love bullshit." I sighed. "I just wanna be crazy with my best friend." I faced Yoongi.

"Best friend zoned but alright." He scrunched his nose. "But let's not talk about that. Let's talk about the fact that we're fucking graduating from college this year."

"Hell yeah! All that studying will be worth it." I smiled.

"Jimin is having a graduation party." Yoongi said. "So like—wanna be my date? You know, as best friends."

"Sure. Why not?" I responded. "We should go to your place now. It's getting dark."

We headed to the car and we soon home.

Just Yoongi and I.

My best friend.

That's all I needed right now.
