Harry had to stay at the hospital after the C-Section for four days. The only good part about it was that he got to sleep in the same room with Indie. Even Louis slept overnight on the little couch. The boys had wanted to stop over while they were at the hospital, but both Harry and Louis said no because it would not only draw attention from the paparazzi and media, but they also didn't want to lug a whole bunch of baby gifts home.
Plus, Harry wanted to plan and have a special homecoming/welcome to the world party for his baby girl. He wanted to make it a big deal because, well, it was. It was the biggest deal of the year in Harry's opinion. He just wanted to show her off and brag to everyone.
Louis came into the hospital room, clad in a hoodie and joggers with a smile plastered on his face. "The nurses are getting the discharge papers ready, so we can start getting packed up and ready to go. Also, I have surprise."
"A surprise? I like surprises. Do share," Harry urged, wondering what in the world Louis had for him now.
Louis pulled out a small baby onesie that had a picture of Louis and Harry on it from 2012 with #LarryIsReal underneath it - it had to be fan made. "It's from Gemma. I found it in the front seat of the car this morning."
"That is the cutest thing that I've ever seen. I love our fans, I swear to God," Harry gushed getting up from the bed and grabbing the garment out of his hands. It was just the perfect size for Indie too. "I'm taking her home in it."
"I figured you'd want to. That's why I brought it to show you," Louis chuckled.
While Louis began to pack up their belongings into the duffle they had brought along, Harry went over to the little crib that the quiet and writhing Indie was lying in. Harry had never seen such a cute little bean in his life. Okay, he had been in the presence of several babies, but Indie was by far the cutest. Maybe he was biased. She was lying in the bed, a plain pink onesie that the hospital gave her loosely on her along with a little hat. Harry thought that she looked adorable, but he was ready to get her out of the plain and boring color that she had been continuously put in for the last four days.
He already had the whole onesie changing deal down to a science - it was just finding out a way to change her diaper without her crying. He unsnapped the onesie down at the bottom and took her chubby little arms out of it, sliding her small self out of it along with taking off the hat. He quickly changed her diaper being that it had been a few hours since her last change and if she was wet, well, Harry didn't want her poor little bum cheeks to burn.
The onesie fit perfectly - in fact, it was slightly loose so she'd be able to wear it for a little while why she grew. Harry put the little hat back on her, not wanting to freeze her because it was the middle of winter. He picked up his daughter, a bright smile on his face as he admired his cute little daughter that was just moving her legs around without a care in the world.
"Look how cute this is! And you said the fans running with the whole Larry thing was bullshit," Harry scoffed, referring to the damage control Louis was forced into doing years back.
"Aye, I only said that because Modest forced me to. Also, she's fu- very adorable," Louis smiled, blushing as he had almost cussed.
"I think it's cute that you're trying not to cuss, but I'm pretty sure you'll slip up and her first word is going to either be shit or fuck," Harry laughed.
"Me? How about you? You have the mouth of a sailor with a good fashion sense," Louis laughed.
Harry set Indie back down into the crib just as the nurse walked into the room with the discharge paperwork. "Good morning, nurse."
