I was nervous to answer the phone given the news I just received . I answered the phone and was greeted with a deep sweet voice "hello" it said "hello?" "oh sorry this is Owen" " how did you get my number" I tried to sound puzzled "woah calm down im not some kind of axe murderer or something" " I just don't remember giving it to you" "oh right a Ashley gave it to me." " oh." " yea so I was wondering if you wanted if you were going to the party tonight" " what party" " oh the football team is throwing one and invited every body to it or already I thought but you can be my plus one of you'd like" "I don't get invited to things because my mom hardly let's me go to things. " " well you should see about going to this one" " yea I'll call you back when I know" " sure okay" "ok bye" "later " and I hung up taking a deep breath as soon as I did. Possibly the hottest guy in school just asked me to be his plus one to a very public party. I walked back into the kitchen to find my mom on the phone. " sure I'll be there as soon as I can" and she hung up. "honey im sorry but I have to go" "were?" " Kansas city" a three hour drive on such short notice? "why" "work" "when do you think you'll be back" " not tonight that's for sure, but by noon tomorrow for sure." that's amazing " ugh when are we going to get some girls time" I asked trying to hide my excitement for tonight. " how about tomorrow?" "sounds great" she grabbed her purse kissed my for head and left. I whipped my phone out and called Ashley. " hey" " girl get ready cause were going to a party tonight" "really!" she squealed " yea come over when you can" " already on my way" I hung up. Then called Owen back " hey looks like I will be able to go" " great" " me and Ashley will walk over there at 8.30pm?" " walking at the hour? Umm no i'll pick you up at 8.30pm?" I pondered this for a moment "well since your are my plus one" " sweet text me your address and I'll pick you up then." "Okay" and I hung up

I heard a knock at the door it was 6:00 I went to open the door it was Ashley with our outfits abs makeup she had to bring the clothes since my mom didn't let me get anything actually cute. I opened the door wider allowing her in them shut it. "so we're should I set up?" she asked "over there" I pointed directing her to the couch " alright while the flat iron is warming up let's get your makeup done" "um ok but I don't want a whole lot just a little" "no problem you have natural beauty" "ok" I said in a sarcastic tone. She sat me down and began on blush then eye work. Just as she was finishing up my phone buzzed. It was a text from owen

Hey I was jw what your plans were for after the party

Umm go home and go to bed? Why?

Well because some how one thing or another led to me having a sleepover type thing and I was wondering if you were interested

Well depends, who's going to be there?

Me a couple of guys and there girls. Me and zac are the only ones without a girl :/

Oh can I bring a friend?

That would be perfect for zac! Who you thinking about bringing

I looked up and saw Ashley working on her own makeup. "hey do you wanna go to a sleep over after the party" she instantly stoped and looked puzzled "who's?" "owens" I mumbled "who?" she asked implying that I need to be louder " Owens" I said " aha of course but I don't wanna be third wheeling it or something" " first of all there will be a group there and zac will be there as your date type thing" " zac as in the zac the Holy shit zac oh my he's hot you must never break up with owen" "woah now me and him are just friends" " not for long" " okay what ever" " alright let's get started on your hair" it took her about 45 minutes to get it completely straight and to my liking. Once she finished her hair it was 7:30 went to the bathroom and got dressed I wore a pair of baby blue jeans a plain grey shirt with a blue and grey scarf. Although I didn't really care for heels I wore a grey pair with an open toe. I finished getting dressed and grabbed a small blue handbag and put 20$ in it then I put my toothbrush gum and a come then I grabbed a bag for me and Ashley to share I put a pair of simple blue jeans in it and a purple shirt that said 'swagger isn't everything' on it socks underwear a bra and converse that were black and purple. I looked at the time 8:10 I decided to call my mom " hey mom" "hey honey hows it going?" " good I was just going to let you know I'm going to bed" " why so early?" " I've been studying really hard so I'm just tired" I said throwing in a fake yawn " okay well I'll call you in the morning then I guess" " okay love you" then I hung up. I went downstairs Ashley was watching TV so I decided to join her

Then we got so into the show we lost track of time then owen called me "hello" I said " hey I think I'm at your house but can you go to your door so I can check?" " yea" I stood up went to the door steped out and sure enough his black convertible was there waiting. I went back inside and told Ashley she grabbed our bag and I grabbed my keys. I headed out the door and literally hoped into his car he smiled an innocent smile and said "shall we?"
