Blessings in Disguise

Chapter 5

We arrived at his house and pulled in no other cars in the driveway meaning probably no adults there to stop inappropriate behavior.  He put the car in Park "well shall we? " I noticed  other car pulled up beside his and some drunk few sober got out.  Oh boy this was going to be an interesting night. " yea let's do it"  I said after a moment. Even though we hoped out quickly it took ashley and zac a few minutes.  We all went inside.  I was sticking close to owen I didn't want to be next to ashley while she practicaly ate zac.  One of the other people who was there said "let's play truth or dare?"        "how about no"  someone else said "let's play completely dark house hid'n'seek?"  owen suggested.  Then for the first time ashley and zac pulled apart to say yes to that.  It actually didn't sound to bad.  Everyone seem to agree the house was plenty big enough for it. "Teams or no teams?" Someone suggested.  no no no no no  .     "yes I'm with zac" ashley said. no no no no no no no no.  "perfect"  said everyone else.  Every body stood up after zac and ashley volunteered to be first. I stayed back hoping no one notice me alone. Then Owen shouted  "  hey Brooklyn you can be with me "  " no that's oka-" I was cut off " no really no sense in you being alone its no big deal seriously just come on"   "okay" I said shyly.  Ashley and zac started counted and everyone darted I didn't know we're Owen went so I started down the nearest hallway a lot of closets  "owen"  I loudly whispered.  Just then a pair of big arms pulled me back and into one of the closets "don't make a noise"  he said in a ruff voice gotta admit that's pretty hot.  I felt his hot breath on me lurking through the small closet are mouths are only inches away.  We heard someone walking down the hall we stayed quiet and they just continued down.  Unexpectedly he jumped out grabbed my arm and pulled me to were ever he was going we turned left then right then left again finally we ended up in an indoor pool room there was a closet in there he pulled me in there.  He shut the door behind him it was full of pool toys and pool cleaning stuff.  "why did we switch closets?"  I asked " because it adds thrill to sitting in closets.  I guess"  he said  "oh ok"   he grabbed my waist "hey"  I said sharply  " I can't help it anymore"  he said his face was getting closer to mine.  GULP  was he about to kiss me?  I took a step back and accidentally stepped on something and tipped a whole bunch of stuff on him.  " oh I'm gonna get you now"  he said playfully "ahh"  I girlishly screamed I turned the handle and ran out of the closet then out of the pool room the first thing I saw were stairs.  I climbed the stairs quickly.  There was a hallway with several rooms and what looked like another stair case up I went towards them,  at the top there was two rooms I went in one and hid just next to the door. I heard someone coming up the first stair case. Other than the small closet there was no were else to go.  I stayed were I was but then second guessed my self and started towards the other room.  But suddenly I was grabbed at the waist and pulled back and I was starting to get tickled. I burst out laughing I was very ticklish. It was owen, " say your sorry"  he sang  " never!"  I said back.  I eventually fell to the floor " I won't stop tickling you until you apologize for knocking that stuff on me"  he said, "no" I shouted back he continued to tickle me.  I couldn't take it anymore.  "alright already.  I'm..... sorry.........  for........knocking...........that..... stuff...... on...... you"  I managed to say in between breaths.  "that's better"  he replied as lifted his hands. Just then people must have heard my laughter because we heard shuffling up the stairs. It was then I noticed the way me and Owen were laying I was on my back laying down he had his knees bent a leg on either side of me.  And he was hunched over me.  When they arrived all they way up they had shocked faves then zac says "woah we've clearly interrupted something. "   I rolled my eyes and stood up.  Fixing my hair in the process. " yes you were interrupting" owen said.  I looked up at him puzzled.  No one else said a word and we all headed back downstairs.  " so,  should we just watch a movie or something"  Zac said.  The room filled with nods and sure's.  A couple of girls said "let's watch a scary movie"  I was pleading not to I can't watch scary movies there too scary.  "sounds perfect"  Owen and a couple others said.  I sat down on the couch,  Owen sat directly next to me then It was Zac and ashley. The movie was staring on the big screen and there were surround sound speakers.  I was getting really scared and it was only 10 minutes in then all the sudden something almost jumped out of the screen and I jumped covered my face and turned into Owens chest.  He was laughing at me I felt my face go red thank goodness for the lights being off.  - - - - - - - - - -

At the end of the movie,  the most terrifying movie ever,  most everyone was asleep expect me, Owen, and ashley that I was kind of thankful for that.  " well I guess we all better be heading to bed it's 3 o'clock"  Owen said. " yea we should be"  ashley said. She pulled Zac out of his sleep and made him guide her to a room were they would be sleeping together.  Oh boy they better not do anything.  "were are the guest rooms?"  I asked "follow me"  he said.  I followed him up the same stairs we took earlier.  "here this should do nicely for you"  he said.  The room was nice but after that movie I didn't want to be alone.  "were is your room?"  I asked.  He raised his eyebrows And said "down the hall."  I closed my eyes not wanting to ask this.  "will you sleep in my room?"   " sure"  not a question about it.  I was hoping nothing bad would come of this but I mean two teenagers of the opposite sex in the same room to any parent there would be a heart attack!
