Chapter 1

Alice's POV

"you know, though, that your girlfriend is a real bitch?" i said. "The fact that you don't like her, doesn't make her a bitch" Paulie answered. Paulie and i were best friends since like forever and I could talk to him in the most open way. People always asked us how we became friends and actually it is a quite cute story. I moved to Australia from the UK. My dad got transferred and since I wasn't going to school yet we just moved.

*Flashback*

"But moooooommm, I don't want to go and communicate.." I said. "You have to make friends dear, you're starting school with them next week." "well why do i have to go to school, I'm sooo little yet..." "Darling, you're already six years old and everybody goes to school when they're so big already" my mom said back to me. "okeeeyyyyyy" I said "I'll be on the trampoline and go make friends later" "okey dear, be careful" "Yesss moooommmm..."

I walked out the door of our new home. It was a nice house and a big one, when we lived in the uk we had a much littler house, we didn't even have a back garden. But this house's back garden was huge. We had a trampoline, a pool, swings and I loved it. I walked towards the trampoline thinking if I was gonna find good friends here. I had been on the trampoline for bearly minutes, when I noticed a little boy sitting on a tree in our neighbor garden looking at me.

"Hey, what you doing up there?" I asked him. "I was just looking at your trampoline, I have never had one... Could I come and jump on yours??" he asked shyly. "Of course you could. What's you're name?" I asked him. "My names Paulie and yours?" he asked climbing over the fence to my garden. "my names Alice" I said smiling.

*flashback ends*

Since that day we were inseparable. "whaaatever, I still think she is not your greatest choice.." I said playfully. Paulie just laughed. "how many of my girlfriend have you approved?" Paulie asked between laughter. "Welllll that isn't my fault you have such crappy girlfriends." I said hitting him on the arm. "you know that hurt" Paulie said faking tears. "awhh. Come here I'll kiss the pain away" I ran to him. "ewww who said i wanted your kiss?" Paulie shouted running away.

When I finally get to him he was sitting on a poolside chair. "Sooo, what are we gonna do today?" I asked him. "well I'm meeting up with Roberta.." "you mean Bitcherta" I cut him off. "ROBERTA and after that were gonna meet up with the boys at Eman's house." he continued.

Oh the boys. The boys as in Justice Crew. Paulie's dance crew, who had won the Australia's Got Talent competition a few years ago. They had gotten very well-known in Australia. I liked them alot, they were great guys and always fun to hang with.

"And why do you have such a problem with Roberta??" Paulie asked me. "i still don't get it." My facial expression changed.

*flashback*

"Hey, Alice what are you doing here?" I heard Roberta's voice from behind me. "oh, I just finished training," I said smiling. Roberta was my class mate and she was nice. "really? You come here to train too? I didn't even know you skateboard..." Roberta said. "oh yess, not many people know about it, well Paulie and my parents are the only ones"

That was the moment her facial expression changed. Completely. Next day at school people were giving me weird looks and I had no idea what it was about. "hey Lissa!!" I shouted at my friend across the hall. "What do you want freak?" she asked back. I was surprised and didn't know what to say coz just yesterday everything was fine. Lissa walked away and I heard Roberta say "OMG lets just leave that freak alone Haha"

I still remember that day clearly. It was such a pain coz I didn't even know what I did. Later I heard someone say that Roberta had told people things like I don't wear underwear and that I sweat like a pig and other stupid stuff but ay it made people look at me wrong when we were 14. I never told Paulie that but I just thought Roberta was jealous I got to spend so much time with Paulie and coz I was such a great skateboarder, much better then her.

I got back from my daze. "oh it's nothing, you know me, all bitchy and stuff," I said trying to look joking but I guess it didn't work coz Paulie asked me: "you sure? If there's something bothering you, you can tell me okey, you know I'm there for you" "yeah I know that" I said smiling at him. "Kay now give me a biiiiiiiiggg hug and I'll be going" Paulie said hugging me. "Kay bye see you at Eman's house!!" I shouted after him. He turned around shouted a "yeah" and winked at me, then walked away. Oh, how I loved him, my best friend. Well as a friend of course.
