A woman with pink hair and green eyes smiled at the bundle in her arms while a male with strawberry blonde hair and grey eyes was admiring the female baby, making it giggle with happiness. The father of the child was leaning over her, playing with the tiny, pale- almost grey- hands that wiggled around in the air. When the girl opened her eyes, it revealed that she had bright green eyes with speckles of grey flecks in them. Tuffs of blonde hair framed her face even though it was short.

"Monika, is it true that she never once let out a single cry when she came into this world?" The father asked. Monika nodded her head.

"The only thing we did was giggle happily when she was picked up." Silence drifted over the room.

The mother hummed, the vibration in in her neck lulled the baby girl to sleep. The mother glanced at the father with cheerful but tired eyes. Her face was sunken in, dark bags were underneath her eyes. Her one full and slightly wavy pink hair had fallen flat and thin looking. She looked like the epitome of tired and fatigued. The mother yawned not wanting to close her eyes but she was still slightly in pain from giving birth and majorly tired from doing the action.

The doctors rushed in, ushering the father out so they could move around easier in the medium sized hospital room. When the child was taken from the mothers arms and put into the nearby crib, the mother almost immediately passed out from exhaustion. After cleaning the rest of the supplies up, the doctors quietly made their way out into the hallway.

"Mr. Thorn, your wife and baby girl are resting peaceful," a female doctor spoke. "You are able to return to them. Visiting hours will be over soon though." Mr Thorn nods and reenters the room, quietly shutting the door behind him. He watched as the two slept silently. He didn't care that his daughter might be different, he loved her still the same. Standing next to the crib, he knelt down.

"I think I would like to call you," he paused waiting for the perfect name to appear in his min. "Ivy seems like the perfect name for you." He exclaimed quietly. The baby flutters her eyes open in response. It giggled trying to grab onto the fathers small red mustache. The father picked up the small squirming child.

"I'm Matthew, you're father," he poked the girls nose causing her to try and grasp his finger before he pulled it away. The child passes out a few seconds before actually grabbing his finger. He chuckled watching the slow rise and fall of his chest.

A beeping noise came from his phone causing him to walk out of the room. Opening the phone, he saw the time. It was time for him to head home, visiting hours were over. Walking down the hallways silently, he happily thought over the images of his daughter. She was so bright. She had her mother's slightly round and slightly pointed face along with her green eyes. Other than that, she had the fathers hair color and nose.

He couldn't be prouder.

He stepped into the cold night hoping and praying that the two of them would be safe. In a world full of quirks, everything was dangerous. He only hopped that his beautiful daughter had been gifted with a strong quirk when she grows up so she is able to protect herself with it.
