ELENA'S POV:
I woke up with the sound of fierce wind. It was very cold. I slowly stand up and looked around. It was dark and foggy. Where am I? "Stefan? Are you here?" I asked as I heard my voice echoing through the woods. I heard I woosh behind me that made me turn around. I saw I girl in front of me. She looked exactly like me and Katherine. "Who are you?" I asked startled. "I'm your doppelgänger. I'm your second personality," she said nonchalantly. "Why am I here?" I asked confused. "You're... let's say that I'm here to help you," she answered. "I don't need any help," I said with a sense of anger. "C' mon, we both know that you want to get rid of him." "I don't know what you're talking about," I said confused. "Your dad," she replied. That makes sense. "Oh," I said hesitantly. "Follow me," I hesitated for a second and then walked after her. "Where are we going?" I asked worriedly. "You'll see," she said excitedly. Then I saw it. We were at my old house. "Why are we here?"  "To get rid of your dad. Why else would we be here?" she asked sarcastically. "We're not gonna kill him, are we?" I said scared. "C' mon, it will be fun," she said pleading.  "No... I'm not a murderer," I pouted back. "A murderer? Seriously Elena, he killed your mother and almost you!" she scoffed. I sighed. She was right. I was nearly dead.  "Come in," she said leading me inside. Now, you take this. You know how it works right?" she said handing me a gun. "I'm not gonna do this," I resisted. "Well, you have to. If you won't do it he'll kill all of you," she said warning. Maybe she's right. I'm not a murderer if I kill a murderer, am I?  "Where is he?" I asked. "Now that's my girl. He's in the kitchen," she said encouragingly. I slowly walked into the kitchen with the gun in my hands. "Elena darling, you have to get me out of here," he said pleading. "And why would I?" I asked sardonically. "Elena, you're better than this. You're not a murderer," he said. "I'm not a murderer if I kill a murderer myself," I stated. "Yes, you are. That is how everyone will see you. A girl who killed her own father. A murderer," he grizzled at me. I thought of that. I see myself walking in school and everyone calls me a murderer. A killer. I don't want to be seen that way. I slowly lowered the gun. "Now put it on the ground," my father said gratifying. "Don't," another voice said. It was my doppelgänger. "Don't trust him. He should be dead already".  "Elena, don't listen to her. You don't want me dead, do you?" he said pleading. "It's a trick, Elena. Don't listen to him". My mind is going crazy, what should I do? "Elena, I promise... If you help me out, we can start over again. I'm really sorry about your mother. Please help me," he said with a touch of sadness. Is this for real or is this the whole act? "Elena, look what he's done to you. You're just gonna let him walk away? After all he did?" she said with an angry tone. She's right. After all he did, how could I ever forgive him?  I pointed the gun at my father. "Elena, you don't have to do this. You're not a murderer. Don't become like me," he said in a pleading tone. "No. You killed my mother! You abused me and Katherine! How can I ever forgive you?" I said angrily. "I don't ask you to forgive me. I just want us to start over. Just give it a try. We can all be together". I felt the tears coming while I tried to hold them back. I remembered how much I wanted a family. Being all together. "Elena, this is what he wants. He's gotten to your weakest spot. Just kill him and it will be all over. You won't have to deal with the pain anymore," she said hopefully. I thought of that. All the pain gone. I can be with Stefan without all these issues. It is that simple. I only have to pull the trigger over. "Elena, please." he said. "It's too late, I said. And with that, I pulled the trigger over and saw my father bleeding. "Come on, let's get out of here," my doppelgänger said. I walked out with her. "Now it's time for you to get back to sleep." "What do you mean?" I asked confused. Then I felt myself slowly fade away.

JENNA'S POV:
I woke up by the sound of the doorbell. Who is so early at my house? I yawned, put on some clothes and walked downstairs. It was an officer. Why would he be here? "Hello, I'm officer Kevin. I'm here for Elena Gilbert." "Why? What happened?" I asked worriedly. "I just want to talk to her," he said calmly. "She's not here," "Do you have any I idea where she is right now?" 'She's probably with her boyfriend Stefan. He lives at the Salvatore Boarding house. "Okay, thank you for your help miss," he said gratefully. "No problem," I said still confused.

ELENA'S POV:
I woke up gasping for air. "Elena, are you okay?" Stefan asked worriedly. Omg, I killed my father. It was just a dream, but still... Tears streamed down my face. "Elena, it's okay. It's just a bad dream," he said pulling me close. "I killed him," I sobbed onto his shoulder. "What do you mean you killed him?" he asked confused. " "I killed my father," I said sobbing. "Hey, it was just a dream," he said comfortingly. "I know, but it looked so real". The doorbell rang. Who could that be? "Who's that?" I asked yawning. "I don't know," he said as he got up. We put on our clothes as fast as we can and walked downstairs to open the door. "Hello, my name is officer Kevin. I'm for Elena Gilbert," he said. "That's me," I said confused. "Can I talk to you?" "Yeah sure, come in," I said leading him to the living room. "What is it you want to talk about?" Stefan asked confused. "Do you know where your dad is?" he asked. "I have no idea?" I said still confused. "Hmmm... That's weird because you saw him this morning, didn't you?" he asked cynically. "No, I haven't," I stated. "Yes, you do". "Why would you ask, if you know the answer already?" Stefan asked dazed. "I just want to hear it from her." He said calmly. "I don't have anything to say," I said bewilderedly.  "Then how would you explain that you killed your father?" I didn't.... I thought. It was just a dream, right? "Well...?" he asked waiting for an answer. "I... I remembered I had a dream last night, where I killed him," I said hesitantly. "You were, clearly not dreaming," he stated. "You know what? Will give you some time to think about it and then we'll call you in a few days," he said.

"What was that about?" Stefan asked after the officer left. "I don't know," I said thinking. But I do know. I slowly remembered. I wasn't dreaming. I killed him and went back to sleep. The dream was just how I wanted to remember. Like it never happened, but it did. That shocked me. Stefan looked worriedly at me. "Stefan I..." "No, No, No. It's okay. You didn't do anything," he said comfortingly. "But Stefan... I tried to say. "Hey, I said it's okay". "Stefan! I nearly screamed. He looked perplexed at me. "I killed him, I'm the murderer. It was not a dream, I remember". Now he looked shocked. "Stefan? Please say something," I said worriedly almost crying. "Hey, you're not a murderer," he said cupping my face. "But I killed my father," I said sobbing. "What will everyone think of me?" I said as the tears streamed down my face. "They will think you're a very brave girl, who stood up for herself," he said soothingly wiping my tears away. I calmed down a bit.
