Yawn! I stretched as I sat up in bed. My head was still groggy as I stood to go to the bathroom, doing my morning routine.
Suddenly, I heard a knock on my bathroom door. It thoroughly scared and shocked me. Who could be inside my apartment? And why would they knock on my BATHROOM door?
"Hey, Baby? Are you in there?" I heard a voice on the other side of the door say. The events of yesterday slowly came back to me, remembering Emilia and the amazing hours with her.
"Yeah, give me a second," I say, making myself decent. I opened the door to see a adorable yet tired girl, wearing one of my button up shirts as a nightgown. I also realized the surprising height difference of Emilia and I, Me at a semi-tall 5'10" and her at a short, cute height of 5'2".
"Morning Handsome," she said, smiling up at me. She stood up on her toes, kissed me on the cheek, and slid by me into the bathroom. I decided to give her some privacy and shut the door behind her. I got dressed and checked my phone, today is Saturday! We could spend the whole day together!
When I heard the shower turn on, I started to clean up the apartment, tidying up from the night before. While cleaning, I gathered Emilia's stuff including her phone. I listened for a moment, the shower was still running, I debated whether or not to snoop a little. I caved and turned it on. Her background was a picture of her and another girl who looked strangely familiar, probably her friend. I wondered if she had a password as I slid my finger across the screen, it opened! The app it opened to was text messages, someone named Gabe. I was curious so I read a little of the conversation, they were talking about .. me!
I couldn't believe it. I checked the phone number for "Gabe" and I recognized it! It was my friend Gabe I'd known for years! He evened texted her a picture of me.
"Hey, What do you have there?" I nearly jumped out of my skin, I hadn't realized the shower had stopped. I turned to see Emilia, with wet hair and a towel. She saw her phone in my hand, Her forehead wrinkled with nervousness.
"So I guess the cat's out of the bag?" She asked timidly.
"Yeah, I'd say so. Care to explain?" I said sternly, showing the texts.
"Well, I was hoping this wouldn't happen. I've known Gabe for awhile now, my best friend Katie is dating him." I remembered the girl on her lock screen, That's how I knew her. "When I met him, he said I reminded him of you. After he showed me a picture of you, I kinda developed a crush on you. After a few days of talking to him about you, I wanted to meet you so I did. I hope you're not mad at me."
I looked at her for a few moments, taking in what she had me. She looked at me, with puppy dog eyes and a small pout. I couldn't be mad at her.
"Okay, I'm not mad at you. But! I want you to promise me something."
"Sure, anything!" she squeaked with a smile.
"I don't want there to be anymore secrets between us." I replied, A smile crept across her face.
"Well, how should we start?" She pondered.
"You hungry?"
She nodded.
