I heard the taxi cab pull away from the curb and then felt my knees going weak. He was kissing me, letting his hands roam down my sides and settle on my hips. And for some reason, I didn't want it to end. He circled his arms around my waist, pulling me flat against his body, deepening the kiss.

"Let me take you back to my place!"

He nibbled on my lower lip and I moaned into his mouth. He tasted so well. His tongue kept invading my mouth, rubbing against mine, slowly circling around it. It was so hot, I felt growing damp in my panties.
What was the hell wrong with me?
"No, I can't," I pushed myself away from him.
I was supposed to go home, not end up in a bed with some stranger.

"But you loved it. The kiss I mean."

He closed the distance between us.
I couldn't find my voice. I had lost it somewhere.

"I can make you feel better. Make you feel things that you haven't felt in a while."

His hands found their way to the down part of my dress, slipping under the fabric and squeezed my ass. When he lifted me up and carried me to a nearby garbage can, I tried not to fall.
My ass touched the cold metal surface and chills run down my back.

"I have to be honest with you."

His lips closed on mine for a second, then on my jaw and neck.

"Shannon told me about tonight. She called me before you guys got here."

"What?!"

I freaked. Tore out from the heaven of his kisses, I pushed him away from me hard, jumped down and pulled the edge of my dress down.

"She did what? Ooooh, I'm going to kill her if she decides to turn up."

I screamed, clutching my bag against my stomach.
"And you. You know? About me not..? Oh, shit." I cursed and watched him leaned against the garbage can. Arms crossed over his chest, he smirked.

"Calm down! It's nothing to be embarrassed about."

"Calm down? Calm down? Don't tell me to calm down. Fuck's sake. My best friend, the person I share everything with. My secrets. Everything. She goes around and tells random guys how I haven't had s..!"

I shook my head, tears pooling in my eyes.
"I'm not a random guy. She and I go way back." He replied, tucking his hands down to his pants.

I was literally crying now. Disappointed at Shannon, then at myself. I let the guy kiss me, take a little advantage of me and most of all - I was still standing there.

"I'm going home. If you see Shannon, tell her not to come home. I don't want to see her right now."

I said, opening my clutch and fishing out my phone again. The cab had left and I needed to call for another one.

"There's no need to call for a taxi. I'm taking you home."

He said and jiggled his car keys in front of my face. I tried not to pay him any attention. I just dialed my phone and called for the cab. He came to snatch my phone off my hands and ended the call.

"Like I just mentioned. I will drive you home."

"No. I refuse to sit in a car with you!"

I raised my voice. Lucky for us, we were the only two people on the street. The additional embarrassment to be seen again in a vulnerable situation was the last thing I wanted.

"Cmon. Let me take you home. Your home, I mean. Don't feel afraid."

"No!"

I held my ground.
