"Found it!" Vincent exclaimed. He was looking through the student's files, and we were searching for Ryker's file. It is now almost five in the evening.
"Okay. So, what does it say?" I asked him, waiting as he read over the file.
"It doesn't say much," he said, "His father is his primary guardian, and it has an address on file and everything. I don't understand because it doesn't say on file that he doesn't live with him." he told me.
"Great!" I said frustrated, "So why doesn't he want to go home? And he always says that his mother is picking him up."
"His mother is on file, but she doesn't have primary custody of him," he noted.
"Okay, I don't get it," I said.
"I don't know. Maybe we should just wait. He obviously has something going on with him. I won't interfere, causing him to go back into his shell. Maybe you should become closer to him, and then he might open up to you."
"Yeah. I guess you're right," I sighed.
"Don't stress yourself. I'm sure everything will be fine" he told me hugging me.
"Okay," I said, burying my head into his chest.
"You ready to go? I know it's getting late," he mentioned.
"Yeah," I said quietly.
We gathered all of our stuff after putting the files away then made our way out of the building. I didn't see Ryker at all anymore much to my disappointment. Not only is Vincent always on my mind, but now Ryker is on it now. I couldn't help being worried about him.

"Hey, don't worry too much. We will get to the bottom of this," Vincent said, grabbing my hand and intertwining it with his. We were now on our way to my house.
"I know. I'm sorry" I said.
"Don't be. I know how it feels to worry about someone constantly," he told me.
"I know," I said seriously.
"It's Friday." he said cheerfully, "Any plans this weekend?" he asked me.
"No, nothing really." I said, "What about you?" I asked him nervously. I wanted to spend it with him.
"Hmm, I didn't have anything planned but since I'm thinking about it. I'll pick you up tomorrow," he said.
I scoffed, "And if I say no?" I said playfully.
"I know that you won't" he shot back winking at me. My heart practically skipped a beat. Why does he have to be so hot?
I sighed, "Fine. What time?" I asked him.
"Hmm. Put my number in your phone." he said, "I'll let you know tonight."
"Okay. Good, I have to check with my parents and see if I can go out tomorrow," I told him. I most likely could, though. I saved his number in my phone as Vin <3.
"Alright, what are you going to tell them?" he asked. I could hear the anxiety in his voice.
"Well, I can't tell them that I have a boyfriend. At least not yet. They will want to meet you and things." I told him.
"Um okay." he said nervously, "Well, I would have to meet them one day. I don't think I'm ready to be slaughtered by them," he said, laughing lightly.
I smiled to myself. We're talking about the future. He plans to stay with me long enough to meet my parents. Is this real?
"I'll tell them that I met some friends from school, and they want to hang out," I told him.
"Okay, that sounds fine," he said, finally sounding relaxed.
