Gerard's P.O.V
We were all in the kitchen talking and looking at memes when a scream echoed from upstairs.

We all look at each other wide-eyed before I quickly run upstairs. Sylvia, that had to have been her. I swing open her door and find her thrashing around, asleep. She was having a nightmare, but it must've been terrifying. I quickly grab her and begin shaking her. "Sylvia, wake up, you're okay! You're safe, it's only a dream," I say shaking her awake.

She keeps trying to pull away, but I think she's awake- I mean her eyes are open now, but I don't think shes fully here. So I press her against me trying to stop her from thrashing around. After she calms down, I wipe the tears from her face. She looked so scared.

"Shhhh, it's okay. You're safe, I've got you," I whisper trying to soothe her. I keep whispering to her, hoping to calm her down.

I hold her against me as her body shakes. She's crying. She looks up at me, her eyes dazed. Her glazed over eyes stare up at me scared.

"It's alright, you're safe," I whisper ruffling her hair.

She lets out a sigh and mutters, "promise?"

I nod and hold her against me. I wanted to ease her worries. I didn't want her scared anymore.

~~~Ryan's P.O.V~~~
I looked into Sylvia's room, just to check if she is alright, and I see Gerard laying Sylvia back in bed. When he spots me in the doorway he holds his index finger up, shushing me. I nod and he looks back at her one more time before closing the door.
"What happened," I ask curiously as to what had caused that scream earlier.
"She must've had a nightmare or something," he says.
"You sure she's alright," I ask as we walk back downstairs to the kitchen.
Gerard nods then takes Mile's coffee mug and drink it.
"Hey, asshole! That's mine," Miles says yanking the mug back, spilling it onto the counter. "Ugh," he growls and begins to clean it up.
Gerard rolls his eyes and makes himself and his little brother a fresh cup.
"Did she tell you what the dream was about," I ask softly. Hoping that maybe we could help the nightmares stop.
Gerard shakes his head, "I was only trying to get her to calm down. I didn't even think about asking."
We hear the freezer open and turn around to see Frank grabbing some waffles. "What? I'm hungry," he says acting offended when he notices us watching him.
After a moment of pondering silence Frank softly speaks, "do you think she needs to talk to someone...? I mean I know she got better some but I don't think she's really better...."
Miles shakes his head, "she has to be better, she seems so much more optimistic then she used to be."
I think back to the other night and the drawings. "Im not so sure, I think there is still something shes been hiding...Have you seen her drawings? There has to be something wrong," I say worried.
Gerard looks like a ghost for a minute and says, "what about her drawings?"
Before I can even speak, he stands up and quickly walks upstairs. I quickly follow, leaving the rest of the boys behind. He quietly cracks open Sylvie's door and peeks inside. Once seeing she's still asleep he walks in.
"Where were the drawings you ment," Gerard asks looking around.
I look on the desk, the were gone. "I'm not sure- t-there not here anymore," I quietly stammer. I open her desk draw to find piles of crinkled paper. I pull them out and flip them over to reveal grotesque images. "I...I think I found them," I whisper.
Gerard grabs it out of my hand and begins looking through them, his eyes wide. Behind us the bed softly creeks and we hear a soft yawn. We freeze once we realize what that means.
"What are you doing in here," Sylvia asks sleepily.
"Nothing," we both quickly stammer.
This must've made her even more suspicious and she jumped out of her bed once she spotted what Gerard was holding. She yanks it out of his hands, her eyes wide and fearful.
