"DO YOU THINK THIS IS TOO TIGHT?" Camila asked her best friend Jodie while she stared at her mirror. "No it's fine but let's go before we miss it." said Jodie, taking her last shot of aftershock. The two girls grabbed their wallets and were out. "Who's playing tonight again?" Camila asked as she and Jodie were walking down the street. Luckily the club wasn't far from the apartment they were living in. "It's a band called Nirvana." Jodie replied as she saw the neon lights, blinking the club's name.
Camilla and Jodie got into the line and saw the people who were walking in. The two girls weren't the only ones ready to see the show. It seemed like there was going to be a crowd tonight. Walking up to the bouncer, the buff man let the two girls in easily. Inside the club the room was filling with the large crowd. The girls managed to get a good spot in the sea of people; not too far and not too close. The band was setting up their equipment, just as the club owner was coming out.
"Welcome to Off Ramp! Tonight we got rock band, Nirvana!" The owner said as he placed the microphone back onto to the stand in front of the guitarist. He strummed his guitar before going straight into a song. The crowd cheered as both the drummer and bassist joined in with their frontman. Camila and Jodie watched on with smiles as the blonde guitarist began to sing.
Camila was enjoying the music, she didn't know the lyrics but she was into it. Each guy on the stage caught her eye, but the bassist, he was the one she was looking at the most. She smiled as they continued to play. Some of the crowd joined the band in singing along their lyrics, Camila didn't even bother. If anything, she was only looking at the tall guy with the stripped blue t-shirt. Jodie jumped with the crowd, bopping her head to the rhythm of the guitars & drums working together. "Tell me I'm not the best friend you've ever had!" she yelled to Camila as the brunette smiled. "Yeah!" Camila said back as the song ended.
The rest of the show was filled with more cheers. It was like the crowd was in ecstasy with the music, some even literally on ecstasy. The night was coming to a close and the band was playing it's last song.
The band was beginning to trash their setup, all smiles on their faces. "I need a fucking drink." said the frontman as he laughed breaking his guitar. The show ended and the crowd was tired. They gave their last cheers before going to the exit. Some stayed to talk to the band, possibly go in the back with them. "Jodie, let's stay for a bit." Camila said to her best friend as she was surprised. "Okay. Don't see a reason why not." Jodie said with no hesitation. The two girls saw the bodyguard guiding the band as some fans were going in the back to talk to the band. They hoped it was going to be easy to get in but who knew?
