IT SEEMED LIKE THE PHONE WAS NEVER GOING TO RING. After the Nirvana concert, the phone call Camila and Jodie awaited for wasn't coming anytime soon. The two friends were trying to remember if they wrote the number correctly, considering that they were both high at the time. The girls knew that the band was going to be busy but still anticipated to hangout with Krist and Dave, even Kurt as well. Coming back from her day job as a daycare worker, Camila saw Jodie napping on the couch. Jodie worked as a sales clerk at the Texaco gas station, always tired from the boredom of being there. Camila set her mini backpack on the floor, sighing after working with the mix of toddlers and little children.

As Camila went to her room, she thought of the look Krist gave her the night of the concert. His dark green eyes meeting with her browns, the feeling of infatuation lingered in Camila's mind. Even the fact that Krist was a tall guy was a feature Camila liked about the bassist. She was in the middle of undressing herself before the kitchen phone began ringing. It's signature ring echoed through the apartment as Camila walked over to answer it. "Hello?" Camila answered as she heard a familiar voice. "Hey Camila, it's Dave. Me and Krist wanted to know if you and Jodie were still wanting to hangout?" Dave said through the phone, a background noise of cars passing by. Camila covered the speaker of the phone with her hand, grabbing an empty water bottle and throwing it at her asleep friend.

"Hey!" Jodie groaned as she looked at Camila. "Oh hey Dave! Yeah me and Jodie are free to hangout, where did you want to go?" Camila said through the phone as Jodie realized what she said. The sleepy girl was now awake enough to listen through the conversation. "Um hold that thought please." Dave said as it sounded like him and Krist were talking in the background. "They called!?" Jodie whispered loudly as Camila nodded. "Okay so uh where do you guys live, we can pick you up from there." Dave said as Camila gave out the apartment address. The phone call ended with a 'see you in a bit' as the girls had excitement growing in them.

"Okay Jo get dressed, they'll be here soon and I'm pretty sure you don't want to go in your uniform." Camila told her friend as she nodded. "Yeah and I suggest the same for you. Don't know if you want to go in your bra and old pair of leggings for Mr.Krist." Jodie said back with a laugh as Camila had forgot she was in the middle of changing. She sarcastically laughed back as she went to her room. She grabbed a hanging black camisole from her closet and the pair of jeans from her dresser. She tucked her camisole in while searching for a pair of shoes. Camila found an old pair of Keds by her bed, putting them on her feet. Camila went to the bathroom and saw Jodie looking at herself the mirror, fixing her shirt.

"Cam? Do you think they'll be offended if I wear a Meat Puppets tee?" she asked as Camila went for her makeup box by the medicine cabinet. "No why would they?" Camila responded as she grabbed her foundation. "You never know, a band might be taken back that someone they know is wearing another band's shirt." Jodie rambled as Camila playfully rolled her eyes while applying a touch up to her makeup. There was a  knock at the door, causing for Jodie to run out of the bathroom and answer. She saw through the door peep hole it was Krist and Dave. The door was opened and there standing were the drummer and the bassist.
