19 : A little honesty

Thomas' Pov:

Locking me up again. Do they think that they can just keep me here without telling me if newt is alright.

Even if I can't fully control or understand how my powers work , I have manage to use it. I kept the door locked in the room , I told them that I wouldn't talk to anyone unless it's newt. They have tried many times to open the door but I wont let them.

"Thomas , this is ava." Ava's voice speaking through the speaker caught my attention. I look at the two way mirror infront of my bed , thinking they we're looking at me through it.

I roll my eyes thinking they will just convince me for the nth time to let them talk to me or open the door.

"Minho and sonya will be talking to you..." that's all she said before the voice switched. "Thomas , this is sonya , would you please let us in? We want to talk to you." Sonya said , sounding as calm and polite as possible.

I just ignored what they said , and pulled my knees to my face , hiding my angry face. On what part does "I will only talk to newt" don't they understand. Im pretty sure I've made it clear.

I hear the door opening its lock , and lifted my hands , positioning it infront of the door. I feel the gust of wind blew from behind me toward the door , pushing it close. I hear a banging coming from the other side of the door. Probably minho trying to use force.

But what suprised me is that I see the door liquified before my eyes , it tured into a water splashing all over the floor. Outside the room is only sonya and minho without anyone else.

"Stubborn as always." , minho said , stepping in the room sonya on his tail. Guessing that he is the one that dissolved the door , I just glared at him , not saying any words. I guess he can already get what im trying to say.

"Thomas we just wanted to talk to you ," sonya said softly. "We can't really let newt in here yet , he is still... unconsious." Sonya explained.

I have made conclusions of what might have happened after I passed out , but nothing is much more worse than thinking that newt is actually dead. Im not trying to establish that conclusion but my mind just keeps on thinking about it.

"Come on thomas..." I snap back to reality after minho said my name. I see him outside to the now doorless room. I see sonya opening the other door just right infront of my room.

"You weren't listening to what Im saying were you?" Minho said , rolling his eyes at me. I just stand up and walk towards him.

After the door was opened it revealed a slim figure under the covers of the white bed. I see his messy blonde locks covering his closed eyes. His breathing was soft , an IDE is connected to his wrists.

I ran beside his bed , looking at his whole body. I look at his face seeing that his pale skin earlier has returned to its natural color. I see that they have changed the green sweater he is wearing earlier to just a simple white shirt.

He looks peaceful...

"When is he gonna wake up?" I ask , i didn't even notice my voice has become hoarse. Not talking for hours has its effects.

"We don't know yet." Minho answered , he was at the doorframe of the open room. Looking as if he is guarding it.

"Thomas , I want you to read the grimore and practice the time spell , while waiting for newt to wake up." Sonya said softly , as if trying not to anger me.

"No. Im going to wait for him." I said hardly , not even giving them any hope that they can actually change my mind.

I see sonya looking at minho as if asking him for instructions on what to do to me. I hear minho walking out of the room , and immediately coming back.
