"Dang, I kinda feel bad for them..." Hanji whispered, looking at the place they stood a few moments ago.

"Yeah, I think we should help them. I mean, this school must be stressing them quite alot." Armin replied.

Everyone agreed, and went upstairs.

It's been three hours, and the five stressed out teenagers weren't even halfway done. Well, all of them except one...

"What the fuck? What the bloody hell is ethnic research of the biology of life? And what's this experiment on making acidic solutions?" Levi screeched annoyed at the fact that he can barely help the black haired girl who was currently writing her work with both of her hands, her left doing her English essay, and her right doing her Kanji homework. Thankfully for her, she finished 70 percent of the mountain in her room.

The stoic man combed his hand into his hair, obviously confused of the questions.

Being part of a different world, meant their level of education is harder than the education in the  9th century. Levi's time.

But he was at least happy to help her with the paperwork. Who knew he can copy her signature perfectly? Levi explained to Erna on how he had been going through banks underground when he was still a thug, only for him to sign the contracts of strangers, just to help his friend to receive proper medicine above the ground. Though he stopped when he became a survey corps. Even he is now a captain, he still fakes the signatures of other people only to make things less chaotic. He kept this secret for himself only, and he hasn't told Erwin yet. Who knew this guy was talented at so many things? including this?

In the neighbouring rooms, Hanji helped Nanami with her maths and her science.

Mikasa helped with the research, while Eren just tried helping with Hiro's English homework. And may I just say that his English homework consists of ten pages.

Armin was at the hidden library the five rooms shared, and was working with an Experiment with Aki. Luckily no one got blasted by the face with smoke. But someone got blasted with elephant toothpaste.

Erwin was literally doing 3/4 of the work Yoshi had to do. Yoshi just had to do his Nihonggo task sheet and History project.

Everyone was just working the whole day, and they just met up when they need to grab some food, or a short drink.

No one said anything about a competition, but everyone was just up for who finishes first.

"Brat, your equation is wrong. It's 75.5, not 74.03." Levi said, pointing at the mistake at question 58. He awaited for some kind of reaction from the black haired girl, but no avail.

"Oi! Are you listening?" He asked again.

It annoyed him to see someone who wasn't listening, only to hear soft breathing.

Looking closer, the short man was faced with the face of Erna, completely relaxed, and not moving a muscle.

He gave out a sighed before walking towards her bed, grabbing the fluffy blanket and moving it aside.

Walking back towards the sleeping girl, he carried her towards the bed, and dropped the blanket over her body, being careful not to wake her up.

She looked at the sand and held it tight, making the sand slowly fall off her hands and whispered. "The ocean holds many secrets. It is quite salty, but once you look underwater, you will see the sweet and beautiful life it holds inside."

Levi looked at her, scooting closer to her, as he held her soft white skin into his hands. Holding her chin, he moved her hair away from her face and tilted her head sidewards, making Levi have a better view of her complexion.

Sitting down the chair she was once in, he looked at her, messing her soft locks before smiling.

'Just like I did with Isabelle...' he thought.

"You deserve a good rest. Night brat."

Closing the door, the black haired man went downstairs, only to see both the commander and the mad scientist with small bags on their eyes. They too were exhausted.

"Oh Levi! How was the work Erna had?"

He sat down with a cup of tea in his hands.

"Stressful. Lots of paperwork. Reminds me of my office." He replied shortly.

"I agree." Erwin nodded. "I went towards the rooms of others, only to see the cadets and the kids sleeping."

Hanji tiredly laughed. "Erwin, they aren't kids anymore. They're full blown young adults."

Erwin just looked at four eyes. "Who knew 'school' was ever hard on them. Yoshi told me they've been doing this ever since they were kids. It's part of this generation's system." he explained.

"Wow, I guess we're beaten by the kids these days..." Hanji said, her voice drifting away, her mind swimming in a deep water of questions and thoughts.

Levi looked at his cup before putting it down.

"I wonder when we are going back home." He mumbled.

Erwin looked down at his hands. "Me too. I wouldn't be surprised if they are still doing their usual jobs without us."

Things got awkward among the three of them. Silence held the room, making it hard to breath.

Hanji, sick of the uncomfortable silence, and tired of the activities they did today stood up and excused herself. She sleepily walked upstairs to change her clothes to her pyjamas that they bought yesterday, opening the door to her room and quickly fell asleep.

Erwin and Levi looked at the chair the squad leader sat, before looking at each other to have a nice chat before going back upstairs and sleep soundly.

No one knew that someone kept watch of them this night...

Trouble is surely about to happen soon.

And Erna definitely predicted that to happen...

I wonder what that would be. Will there be a secret plan held up by this someone? And who are they?
