Skates rustling around were heard as the music played, slowly closing in to the end. The brunette posed, her hands up in the air, her feet gracefully pointed.
After a brief second, she put her hands down and fell down, panting.
Her performance of Eros has left everyone speechless. Well, except Erna. She has seen her friend skate this routine several times. Thus, making her nod her head in approval.
Aki wobbly stood up and skated towards the exit, clasping her hands with the black haired girl, before slipping her hand away and sat at an empty bench with her water bottle.
Her coach smiled and patted her back. "Beautiful performance. Try finding a better Eros though Aki."
Via looked at her other student. "Erna, you can start skating towards the center."
She did what she was told, and skated towards the center, quickly stopping.
As the music started, she closed her eyes and held her hands up, gracefully pulling them down and started skating.
First jump, triple loop double axel combination.
The skates left the ice and landed with a soft click.
Skating backwards, she did a quadruple toe flip.
Perfect.
Closing her hands together, she widened her legs as she moved sideways.
Like a hawk.
Bend her knee as she skated and...
Quadruple salchow, double flip, and triple flip.
Following that is her quadruple salchow, double toe loop and the first quintuple flip.
'Come on, you've practiced this several times.'
She lift her feet up in the air, doing everything perfectly but-
*THUD*
"WHAT THE-! SHE DID A SEXTUPLE FLIP!"
She quickly stood up and skated half of the rink before posing her head facing the right and her left hand calmly put to the side of her hips, her right pointed at nothing.
She fell down exhausted. Who knew her routine was harder to practice when it's just a short program? And that was just half of it.
Lying down on the ice, she stood up. Well, correction, she crawled before standing up, then failing, then standing up again, only for her to walk towards the exit.
All of them were mouth open. No one has ever succeeded in making six flips in one serving. Her coach just ran towards her and hugged her, only for the poor girl to fall back down on the floor.
"That was incredible! You can do the whole program perfectly now! And you can do six flips! Are you kidding me?!"
Hanji thought for a moment with what the dirty blonde haired woman said. All words sinking in, she sweat dropped.
"Wait, you mean that the performance she did was..."
"Just halfway?" Armin finished.
Aki nodded, only realizing that they can't really see her face. "Yes" she said shortly.
"She's been practicing."
Everyone just stared in shock as the coach just patted and rubbed the face of the tired girl.

After the whole train ride from the skating rink, the two girls held their bikes as they returned to Erna's house.
