Coconuts II

*Jennie's POV*
*10 months later*

It's been months since lisa confessed to me, and i rejected her, I do feel bad for her, I know i kept get as a suitor for almost 4 years and then Kai came and in a month i gave into him, It's just that when I'm with him it feels so right. Im sorry lis.

She doesn't come to here anymore to ask for coconut water, I barely see her now, sometimes i would see her working in her fathers restaurant, Jisoo tells me that she got a job on the main island, everyday she travels there and comes back in the late afternoon to help her parents at the restaurant, I don't know what kind of job she has there but all I know is since she started working on the main island, her father's business got popular, attracting tourists to our island, I mean it made the whole island popular, but i barely see her, i wish i could talk to her, I miss her.

*Lisa's POV*

I Just arrived back on the island, today my boss allowed me to come home early, seeing that it was almost Christmas.

Yes I got on the main island, did i do it to get enough money so i could provide for Jennie?, phahaha NO.......yes, yes I did, I'm a sad piece of crap honestly, I still love her, this is what its like to have your heart betray you, ugh.

I got a job as an assistant, not a big job, but I'm working for a rich man, and the pay is more than what i need, so i give my parents every month, resulting in the expanding of their business, Im living good now, It's better, I still talk to Jisoo and Rosè, just not Jennie.

But seeing that i got off work early, I guess I could pay a visit.

I walked to the hangout there i saw Jisoo and Rosè chatting with other customers, Jisoo saw me

"Oh my gawd, well isn't it miss ' i have a big job in the city'!"

"Jesus Jisoo, you're acting like I don't talk to you!"

"Oh shut up, buy me a drink, you look rich in that suit"

"Sure, Ros.."

"Today is my day off Lis, that means you have to go order it at the front"

"Ugh fine what do you want?"

I asked as I took off my blazer

"Vodka"

"No no no no no no, she'll have coconut water, or juice"

"Same for you?"

"Yes, thank you"

Rosè then looked at Jisoo

"What!!?"

"Say thank you!!"

"Ugh fine, ThAnK YoU LiSa"

I chuckled when she said that and left to get the drinks

"Can i have two juice please?"

"Lisa?"

I looked up

"Hey jen", i smiled

"Hiii Lis", she said as she kept staring at me, I awkwardly smiled at her.

"Um the juice?"

"Oh right yes!"

"Twice juice alone?, what about your coconut water?"

"I'll have a vodka and coke, please"

"I didn't know you drink"

"It's something I picked up awhile now"

"Oh"

"So um can you bring it over to the table when you're finished?"

"Yah sure"

"Thanks"

*a few minutes later*

"Here are your drinks"

"Jen when you lock up, why don't you hang with us?", i heard Jisoo said ,

"Yeah sure unnie"

*later that night*

"Okay guys ima go"

"Where are you going? We're supposed to hand together!"

"Unnie i have to help my parents"

"Oh shut up, they complain how you work too much, Now lets go"

We went to hang out at the other side of the island, as we were walking , Jennie and I were trailing behind Chaesoo,
And I saw that she was shivering, i then took off my blazer and cover her, she looked at me and smile then utter a small thank you.

Throughout the night we were talking, I missed this so much, I missed us, if she only gave me a chance, when it was time to go home, I agreed to walk Jennie home, as we were going home we saw a familiar car, there we saw Jennie's boyfriend, stepping out the car with another girl, who held his hand then kissed him,
I turned to look at Jennie, and her eyes brimmed with tears, she was about to run away but I held her and carried her away from the scene.
