*Jennie's POV*

The years of college are never easy, projects, homework assignments and then a hell hole most people call Exam

Being a literature student doesn't make its less hard, I envy the kids who find it easy.

"This is the best field for a student", I recall my father telling me as my mom nod her head

I wanted to be in art, so I could express myself.
But they didn't like the idea, so I'm here, hopeless as mid terms approach too fast for my liking

I sighed as I hugged my sides and walked onto campus as the cold autumn breeze blow.

The dark gloomy colors always reminded me of black coffee.
Bitter, but I love it.

I walked into my first class of the day and sat next to my seat mate.

Lisa Manoban.

A student I consider as a friend, because she shares interest that are mine.
Lisa passes literature with bright shinning colors, she's always interested in reading and writing.

Reading.....something I was fund of, even tho I asked to see her works she always disagree.

"Life's a bitch lili", I would say at the end of every class.

She'd sigh and nod.

"Goodmorning dear ole Nini, I would like to tell you that the book you recommended me is shit", She said smiling, I gasp

"The Tale of Two Lovers is not shit, how could you say that about that book Lalisa", I said

"Well, firstly the dude who wrote the book became a pope in his forty's , imagine reading a exotic book written by a pope", Lisa said snickering.

"I'd say he's quite confident in his work", I replied.

Lisa groaned

"Come on Jennie, give me something interesting, I've read hundreds of books and none gave me that feeling, you know? give me a good book will you?", She said leaning her head on her table.

"Okay first of all, the books i gave you are great, but there's another one, but my grandfather once said 'don't lend your favorite book', and he had lived a great life, I intend to do the same", I said turning to the teacher that walked in the class

"Whats the name?", she asked silently

"Paper towns", She scrunched up her face.

"Is it about drawings of stick dudes?" She asked letting out a chuckle, I gave her unamused smile.

"Okay sorry, when can you lend it to me", She asked

"Nope, not lending that one, you'll have to find one of your own", I told her

"Okay what?, you know im not someone to buy a book, read it and keep it on a shelf for 3 years", Lisa said dramatically.

"I'll give it back", she said pouting.

I ignored her

"Okay okay, I'll come over everyday and read at your house, how about that? Oh and.......I'll help you with mid terms", She said which caught my attention

"Deal", I said as fast as I could

She chuckled.

*after school*

Lisa and I walked to my house,
As soon as i entered the warm atmosphere of my cosy like Rosie home, I shivered, feeling the coldness leave my body and a blanket of warn hugs wrapped its arms around me.
