Sabrina's POV

I ran down the 2nd floor corridor, towards Charms class, as I was running ridiculously late. I had spent all of lunch with Hagrid, walking around the grounds.

I was just about to turn left towards Flitwick's classroom, when I heard crying.

I stopped dead – It's coming from the girls bathroom!

I push open the door to the girls bathroom, and the sound of a girl crying grows slightly louder.

"Hello?" I call out.

No answer.

"Hello? My name's Sabrina. What's yours?" I call out again.

"S.....S....Sabrina. Is that really you?" a voice shakes out from inside one of the cubicles. I know that voice! - Hermione!

"Yeah. It's me Hermione. Fancy some company from a friend?" I ask sweetly – Sod Charms! I already know how to do 'Lumos Maxima'. It was in book 2 of the Chadwick Charms books.

"I.....I don't have any f....friends according to R....Ronald Weasley" she utters through the door – Mental note = Kill Ron for being an arse to Hermione.

"You do have friends Hermione! I'm your friend! You're the only person in the school I actually want to spend time with in the library" I say quietly. Best not to mention George, or how I would spend every second with him, anywhere for that matter - It probably wouldn't help.

The door to the cubicle slowly opens, and Hermione lets me inside, to sit with her.

I then hug her tightly for what felt like hours.....

George's POV

"WHERE IN MERLIN'S NAME IS SHE!?" I snap to Fred and Lee, as we walk along the Gryffindor table for the Halloween feast. My hands have been uncontrollably shaking ever since Charms class, when she didn't turn up for.

"I dunno mate. But you need to calm down. People will think you're in love with her or something!" Lee jokes sitting down.

Fred sends me a look, clearly saying 'you're crap at hiding how you feel about her'. I send him one back saying 'shut up'. I know we haven't been on the best of terms with Sabrina lately, but that doesn't mean I'm not still crazy about her.

Fred and I sit down at the table and we begin asking everyone if they've seen her – and I mean everyone: Alicia, Angelina, Wood, Neville, Seamus, Dean, Harry, Ron, Hermione.....Wait, nope not Hermione – Where's Hermione? – Maybe Sabrina's with her!

I breathe a sigh of relief – Sabrina is probably in the library, and she's about to burst through those doors at any moment.

As a thousand live bats flutter around the ceiling, a thousand more swoop down over the tables in low black clouds, making the candles in the pumpkins stutter.

The feast appeared suddenly on the golden plates in front of us, and it tastes amazing.

"Whe....Where's Hermione?" I looked round to see an empty seat next to Harry where Hermione should be. I was about to answer she's probably with Sabrina in the library, when another voice pipes up.

"Pavarti Patil said she wouldn't come out of the girls bathroom. She said that she'd been in there all afternoon.....crying" Neville whispers – ALL AFTERNOON!? So is Sabrina with her? – Oh Great! Now my hands are shaking again!

"TRRROOLLLLLL!" TRRROLLLL in the dungeons! - "

I spun round to see Professor Quirrell sprinting through the Great Hall and up to the staff table. His turban was askew, and there was a look of terror on his face – Oh Merlin, please don't be anything bad! If there is something bad going on, Sabrina is probably involved somehow.
