As I sat with the Mauraders Map, laid out in front of me, I watched as Harry and Hermione's name picked up Norbert from Hagrid's hut, and began making their way through the castle.
I had found out that Ron was bitten by something, so he was sitting in the Hospital Wing, unable to help.
I went to see Ron yesterday, and when I told him that Charlie had sent me a letter about Saturday night. The Ron told me everything. How Harry and Hermione were going to use the invisibility cloak to carry Norbert to the Astronomy tower. But most of all, he told me how Draco had stolen Ron's letter from Charlie telling him when and where to meet his friends – He seemed so nice when I worked with him.
I watched as Malfoy's name went up the steps to the astronomy tower – He's going to see the Charlie's friends!
Panic begins rising inside me, at the sight of his name – Please Work!....................YES! My tip off to Filch about a stupid first year up trying to sneak up to the Astronomy tower, had worked, as Filch's name was stuck to Draco's taking him straight past invisible Harry, Hermione and Norbert, and off to McGonagall's office. I scan the rest of the map to check the locations of Snape, as he is the only other Professor on guard tonight. His name reveals him to be on the 3rd Floor – Why is he there? – Worry about that later.
I flip back to Harry and Hermione, just as Norbert's name disappears off of the map. I hop over to my window and just make out a few brooms fly off in the moonlight - Well that should be that.
I then climb back onto my bed, and I'm just about to wipe the map clean, when I notice that Harry and Hermione's name is stuck to Filch's and is slowly travelling to McGonagall's office.
"But how could Filch see them?.......Harry should have the cloak!?" I ask myself in a whisper.
Then a terrible thought hits me - He dropped it! The PRAT!
I bite my lip nervously – I have to go and get it. If anyone finds that cloak – Harry will never see it again. It's an invisibility cloak! Anyone would have that!
I wipe the map clean and store it away in my trunk, locking it silently with my wand. I grab my wand holster from my top drawer and attach it to my leg, storing my wand inside. I then put on my jacket, before opening the window of my dorm, and transform into a Large White Owl.
The cold night air hits my wings as I fly over the tips of the various roof tops of Hogwarts. I make it to the Astronomy tower and see the cloak sitting helplessly on the floor. I land on the stone floor and transform back into myself, stuffing the cloak inside the zip of my jacket for storage. I turn round to face the window and I'm just about to jump up into the air, when a voice sounds out behind me.
"Hello Sabrina"
I spin round to see Dumbledore.
"Out for a flight, in the moonlight?" he asks me quietly.
"Something like that......Er......but it's kinda cold out, so I think I'll just go to bed instead" I reply quickly, trying to face the window again.
"Don't give Harry his cloak straight away. He won't learn the importance or value of it, if it turns up before he does" Dumbledore begins walking over to me "I'd say, as it belonged to both of your families, perhaps you could borrow it for a few days. Perhaps return it after Harry's upcoming detention" he adds pleasantly.
"Ok sir. If you say so" I reply sweetly.
He nods to me gesturing to the window – I guess it's time for me to leave.
I step to edge of the astronomy tower and jump off falling down the side of the building, before flapping my wings, and zooming off back towards Gryffindor tower.
