As the days continued on, I found myself getting busier and busier on the run up to Christmas.

The lessons with Draco were progressing on well. We had gotten to the stage where he had to not only learnt about the Potions, but to actually brew them himself. He had managed to successfully brew his own Wiggenweld Potion, in our last session, without any prompting, from me, what so ever. Even Snape seemed impressed by his potion, as he awarded us both 20 points each for our houses.

I haven't been hanging around with Hermione much, since Halloween. She, Harry and Ron had been friends ever since the incident with the Troll, so I haven't seen her as much. I still saw her every Monday night in the Library though, to help her with any work she was stuck on, or even just to discuss our different classes, before we both headed off to the Gryffindor Common Room together.

Over time I began to notice that the trio, had started spending time an awfully large amount of time in the library, during their lunch breaks. Apparently they were searching for some Wizard. Hermione asked me one Monday evening, if I knew anything about a Wizard called Nicholas Flamel. I told her I didn't of course. But I do remember Aberforth mentioning his name once, saying he was friends with Professor Dumbledore. I didn't tell Hermione this of course, or she would have started asking questions about how I know Aberforth. I wasn't ready for people to know I'm a Dumbledore, by blood yet. I mean the twins know - but that's the twins.

Choir hasn't really changed much. The only difference is Connor has been insisting that we duet more and more now, as we are together. He keeps asking Flitwick for chances for us to perform together. I have been very grateful to Flitwick so far. He always notices my face at the very idea of more solo's. I have always said I wanted LESS solo's, not more. Flitwick just would always tell Connor there'll be another time – He never looks impressed with after these conversations.

Connor has been acting a bit odd lately. I told him the days and times that I was free to spend time with him. He wasn't too impressed, by my lack of availability. He couldn't understand why I had to spend any time with a bunch of 1st years, or the Grounds Keeper.

"It's to go towards my experience for when I finish school Connor, surely you can understand that" I'd reply.

But I don't think he really understood. He always seemed to be popping up in places. He would meet me after Quidditch practice, to walk me back to Gryffindor tower, or he would meet me in the Library after Lunch, to walk me to class. He just seems to be popping up everywhere - All of the time. It's started to get a little irritating, but I know he means well. I mean Percy pops up after my Ancient Runes lesson to walk me to my next class, as he knows I'm never with the twins.

"It's about the only time, that I can have a decent conversation with you, without Fred and George acting all embarrassing" he stated to me one Thursday afternoon. I just laughed at him. He did care about me a lot, and he is very sweet, but I will always prefer the twins to him – The twins just get me.

I hadn't spent any real time with the twins, unless you count classes or Quidditch – Which of course they didn't.

Around Mid-December, I woke up to find Hogwarts covered in several feet of thick snow. The few owls that managed to battle their way through the stormy sky to deliver mail had to be nursed back to health by myself and Hagrid, before they were able to fly off again.

No one could wait for the holidays to start. While the Gryffindor common room and the Great Hall had roaring fires, the drafty corridors had become icy and a bitter. The lake had frozen solid, and the twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs, to follow Professor Quirrell around the castle. Apparently the snowballs were bouncing off of the back of his turban.
