PAIRING: Thor Odinson x reader

It was Saturday night, and surprisingly, it seemed as if crime had taken the day off. For once, it was quiet in the Avengers tower and everybody was able to peacefully accomplish whatever task they pleased.

It was refreshing to finally had a day off, however it was now that you realized how boring life was without someone threatening Earth. You'd reread your favorite book, made lunch, trained with Natasha, even had Clint teach you how to shoot. But now, now you had nothing to do. It wasnt until dinner time that an idea popped into your head.

You hurriedly ran through the new Avenger's compound, finding Tony's work lab. "Tony!"

"What?" He said, not breaking focus as he continued to make more moderations to his suit.

"Since the Avengers have the night off, I was thinking we could have a movie night, ya know! It'd be fun, we could order take out, and-"

"Sorry Y/N, as fun as that sounds, I have a lot to do here, maybe next time." Tony felt bad for turning your offer down, but this was the first time he'd had to really focus on his suit.

"O-Oh, that's okay, I'll see if anyone else wants to, good luck," You stuttered out, your smile faltering a bit, but still hopeful.

You decided to try Steve next, surely he'd be down for a movie or two. You made your way over to Steve's room. You lightly tapped on the door, "Come in," called Steve's voice.

You opened the door to see him sitting on his bed, reading a book. You smiled, surely he would say yes. "Did you need something?"

"I was just wondering if you and a few of the others wanted to come watch some movies, order take out, relax," you pitched your idea.

Steve gave you a soft smile, "That sounds like fun, but I'm sorry, it's been a while since I've had some me time, if you don't mind I'd just like to be alone," he said sweetly.

Once again your smile fell, "Yeah, I understand, talk to you later," you mumbled.

Time after time you got turned down. Natasha was training. Clint was using his free time as doing some target practice. Bucky wanted some alone time. Bruce was in his lab. Wanda and Vision we're spending some time together. Sam and Rhodey were in Tony's bar. And Peter and Thor were no where to be seen. You'd even gotten so desperate you asked Loki, which of course, ended in another rejection.

You let out a groan, 'fine, I'll have my own movie night' you mumbled to yourself.

You made your way over to the large common area, choosing the couch which sat directly centered with the huge flat screen TV. You flipped on the TV and selected Star Wars, it was a classic, and always a good choice.

You were about an hour through Star Wars: A New Hope when a loud voice boomed above you, slightly startling you.

"Ah, lady Y/N! What are we watching?" He asked, sitting closely beside you, placing his arm around your shoulders. Thor never was one for personal space, however you were just happy someone had joined you.

"Star Wars, it's very popular here on Earth," you informed the God of Thunder.

"Star Wars? I don't recall a war among the stars, not one that Asguard partook in anyway," he said, his face contorted into a look of confusion.

You giggled, "It's not real, Thor. When this movie was made nobody even knew Gods and Aliens existed, it's all CGI, or a green screen."

He still looked slightly confused. "It's all made up, for entertainment," you explained further.
