I walked up the stairs following behind Julian "hi i'm trent" a boy with hair that fell to the side of his face that looked in his early twenty's said.
"hi i'm Jordan" i smiled "nice to meet you" he smiled back.
Julian put my bags next to the lounge then a boy with black hair walked out "hey i'm will and don't worry i don't rap every conversation" he laughed. i looked at him with a confused look "everyone thinks that since im always rapping in our performances i rap in real life like all the time" he laughed again "oh" i laughed along with him.
"so you've met Trent, will and Jayden and Zach is most likely with keeda" Julian said with a smile
"most likely.... ha more like definitely when isn't he with her, ah young love" he laughed.
"shut up jayden" julian said. i quickly realised this was a good place to be in, everyone laughed alot it was more relaxing than at home.
"So did you want to go get some lunch" jayden asked. "she's been here 5 minutes and you're already asking her out" Julian said playfully, "actually it's been 7 minutes and you can come too, i meant all of us so we can get to know her" Jayden replied. "i'll text zach and see if he's going to join..." before julian could finish zach walked in "hey zach this is jordan" julian said "so this is the girl you've been talking about for months right?" julian looked at me and blushed then looked back at zach. "so what were you saying about me as i walked in the door" zach asked. "just that julian was about to text you to see if you're coming with us for lunch" jayden said. "sure" zach replied.
Jayden threw a shirt on and a beanie and we all walked out the door.
lunch was nice, and his bandmates were great i don't know why i was freaking out.
"let's go get an ice-cream" julian insisted "but we just had lunch" i replied.
"we can walk along the beach" as he said it, in my head it sounded so romantic but on the outside it was just a guy getting an ice-cream with his best friend nothing more.
The other boys went back to the house, while we walked along the beach with out ice-cream.
"You know, i missed you but i missed you more than you actually know it's good to be with you again, well not be with you but like be here like together but not together but um yeah so how are you liking the weather"
Really the weather he was asking me about the weather after he just turned a not so awkward situation into an awkward situation and was making it more awkward.
"i love the weather it's great, i love being here alot and i've only been here for about 2 hours" i smiled.
There was an awkward silence well it wasn't awkward it was more of a quiet pause before i said "let's go back to the house, and go for a swim" "ok, i'll race you" and we ran back to the house.
We got back to the house when we walked in the door jayden was on the couch "how was your swim?" I asked him "um it was great just kidding we decided to play fifa instead" he laughed "WHATT!! WITHOUT ME" julian shouted sarcastically "i would have texted you to tell you, but i figured you were preoccupied" he smirked and then i said "well, we were planning on going for a swim now if you wanted to come" "sure, i'm ready to go" he said he was wearing boardshorts and once again no shirt, i soon realised this boy would be walking around shirtless alot i didn't mind though. i walked out of the room and said "Hey you guys ready to go?" they were both looking at me weird, but i shook it off and then jayden said "Yeah i am lets go" "i'll be down there soon meet me there" said julian.
Jayden and i walked down and got in the pool "So what's the deal with you and julian have you ever kissed" a confused look appeared across my face "why would we kiss, we're just really close just best friends, that's it" i said defensively and a smile appeared across his face "so does he know you're in love with him" he smirked and i had no idea what to say how did he know, if he knew did julian know "what! how, but what" was all i could manage to get out and not without a stutter either.
I stood there so puzzled while he was laughing at me, i wanted to say something to know where he got this idea from i thought about whether i should deny it and tell him he is crazy but if he got this idea after 3 hours would that mean julian knows.
I decided to say "I honestly don't know what to say right now" "i would have went with the hole what the heck are you talking about thing, but since you aren't denying it i'm realising im right" he said with confidence "I've known you for 3 hours and you're making this assumption that worries me a little bit to how you think this and if you think this does anyone else?" realising i just sounded like i was in a buisness meeting "if you're asking me, does julian know then the answer is no he's completely oblivious and i probably shouldn't be telling you this but he's crazy about you he talks about you all the time so you should just talk to him" i felt like i was having a heart to heart about my best friend with a guy that i've known for 3 hours i honestly didn't know what to think at this point and was julian really crazy about me?
"talk to him, i can't just talk to him"
Then i felt a splash of water in my face, looking over in jayden's direction i was about to yell at him when suddenly i heard a familiar voice "Talk to who about what?" said julian.
I was trying to think of something to say, not wondering how long he had been there and obviously i wasn't going to tell him that i was talking to his bandmate that i had met today about being in love with him my best friend that i had known since i was 2, yeah that wasn't going to happen.
"She was talking about asking the hotel guy for pink pillow cases, you know how much she loves pink" jayden said, wow he just saved me from making a fool out of myself. "Yeah, i forgot to bring some and i can't sleep without them they're very comforting maybe i'll just go down to the shops later and buy some, i doubt they have pink ones here."
He smiled and got into the pool, i just gave jayden a thankyou look and then splashed him back "hey, that's not fair i wasn't prepared" jayden said "neither was i when you splashed me, it's called pay back" i said with a smile "ha ha, maybe i'll google that so i'll know next time" he said sarcastically
"whatever pops your toaster" i replied "my toaster really?" he laughed
"well i figured you had a toaster and not a boat so yeah, unless you have a boat then whatever floats your boat but if not whatever pops your toaster and yes i just ruined the logic of all these sayings ha" i laughed "yeah you did way to go, my boat and toaster will never be the same"
both of us burst out laughing, julian was just standing next to me the whole time laughing within this sarcastic conversation with jayden and i hadn't realised that julian was holding my hand i stopped laughing and looked down at my hand the boys were still laughing then finally stopped jayden started doing something in-between swimming and acting like a duck i'm not actually sure what it was to be honest and julian was still holding my hand looking at me, like he was studying me his eyes looked so good when he was shirtless, actually who was i kidding his eyes always looked good, though him being shirtless made his eyes look better i'm not sure how someones eyes can do that but not even 1 day in sydney and i was sure i was turning crazy.
i felt julian come closer to me, still studying me then jayden yelled out dinner time, and he let go of my hand......
