She'd been back with me, for not even a day and i was sure i was in love with her. the thoughts in my head were everywhere now, when she was back in adelaide i thought about her about 200 times a minute, but now that she was back with me she never left my mind. i wanted to let her know about my feelings since she'd only ever been my best friend but i didn't want to ruin our friendship and she'd probably have eyes for every other guy in the world but me, she seem to be getting along with jayden pretty well no i wasn't jealous but just ok julian you aren't jealous so forget it ok maybe just a little.
I held her hand at the airport, i held her hand in the pool both times her face changed from a smile to a weird look, i just can't help myself when you're far away from someone for such a long time, you realise the feelings you have and now i can't get them out of my head.
I looked over and saw trent talking to jayden just after jayden had yelled out dinner time, yeah perfect timing jayden thanks. jordan got out of the pool, and started to walk back to the room "i'm going to have a shower, i'll talk to you at dinner"
I walked over to trent "good timing bro" i said "what, what did i do" he looked at me confused "he was just about to make a move, cause he doesn't know what talking is" jayden said with a smirk "what" i looked at him with my eyes wide open "we know you like her, and so does she" jayden said with a laugh and then ran up stairs. i ran after him "JAYDEN WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE KNOWS" sounding like a 15 year old girl. we kept running til we got back to the our rooms he ran into his room and locked the door "JAYDEN LET ME IN NOW" i yelled, he opened the door "ok, only if you don't kill me" he said laughing again.
"we need to talk now" i demanded "julian are you breaking up with me" he smirked "shut up jayden what do you mean she knows, tell me now" i demanded again "well you love her, she loves you it's quite obvious you guys just need to talk to each other" he replied "wait, you and jordan weren't talking about pink pillow cases in the pool were you?" i asked "probably not, well we could have been but yeah we weren't" he said "what were you talking about then" "you" he said.
I heard trent yell out "are you guys coming to eat or not", i turned the door handle and saw jordan standing there "actually i'm not hungry, i'm just going to go to bed" she said and went to her room.
"how much of that do you think she heard" i asked jayden "i'd say most of it"
I decided to just lay in bed and listen to my ipod.
The next morning i woke up and walked into the kitchen shirtless i looked at the dining room table and saw her eating rice bubbles i got my self some breakfast and went and sat across from her "goodmorning" i said with a smile "goodmorning how'd you sleep" she said back with a smile
"great, actually i was thinking we could get those pink pillow cases you wanted" i said she burst out laughing "sure, i guess i didn't get the best sleep without them" we both laughed and talked as if everything like normal yet i knew it wasn't i had to do something to confess to her my feelings i just had to get it all out in the open.
we both got ready and went to target, we walked to the pillow case aisle "so you weren't actually talking about pillow cases in the pool with jayden were you?" i asked "i'm pretty sure you know the answer to that" she replied with a smile "well at first i thought you and jayden were flirtin..." she cut me off "don't be silly, you should know he's not my type" "then what is?" i asked "pretty sure you know the answer to that question aswell" she said "I'm not a mind reader, so i don't know the answer to this question and we've only been best friends and i'm hoping this doesn't ruin anything but i'm wondering if you would like to go to dinner with me tonight?" I asked nervously "just the two of us?" she replied "yep, just the two of us" "like a date?" she asked, "i'm pretty sure that's what they call it" i replied "Yes i would like to go on a date with you" we both smiled "Jayden said talking would work, guess he's a match maker after all" she said "I guess" we laughed.
Still standing in the pillow case aisle "so this is romantic and all asking you out in the pillow case aisle, but maybe we should go" we both laughed again.
I held her hand and this time there wasn't a weird look, just a smile as her face lit up, so did mine.
we went back to the hotel, and i played fifa with the boys while she went back to her room.
6pm, came around quickly i was ready to go and i sat on the couch waiting for her then she walked out in a beautiful blue dress that made her blue eyes stand out, i walked over to her and was nervous, excited and happy all in one... this was my first date with my best friend that i had known forever this could either go great or horrible...
