I walked off the plane, excited for what lay ahead.
I was moving to sydney for a few months, and i was overly excited to see my best friend.
I hadn't seen him in awhile since he moved to sydney we had known each other since we were 2 and had always grown up together inside as we got older i had started to feel something for him but i pushed it aside because knowing him he'd see me as just his best friend.
Anyways he had moved to sydney when he joined a boy band he had texted me one night saying i got into the next round of x factor the only catch is i'm now in a boy band. you could say i was never expecting that. I never thought the julian i knew would be in a boy band but little did i know soon that he'd be all over my tv he was no longer my julian the one that i ran to for cuddles when someone broke my heart the one that i could talk to at 2am and he'd be there to listen he was the worlds julian, he was the julian from the collective the one that every girl wanted.
The train of thoughts in my head, were obviously too much for me to realise i was just about to walk into a wall cause it was too late, i heard a familiar chuckle. Sure i would have a bruise on my face i looked up and there he was that cheeky smile that smile that i had secretly fallen in love with.
I wrapped my arms around him, and he did the same. it felt so good to be in a familiar presence after a long plane ride of strangers.
"Lets get your bag" Julian said. "bags" i corrected him. "how did i know you'd bring your whole bedroom" he laughed, "you should know me by now, and yes my suitcases are pink" i laughed.
"typical" he laughed and grabbed my hand.
I wasn't expecting that, we've always hugged and been playfully girl-guy best friend flirty but never held hands, well not since we were younger swinging on our favourite swing set. I had the biggest smile on my face and my heart was beating a thousand times faster i was sure, i was going to drop dead in the middle of the airport.
We grabbed my bags, then headed to the taxi back to "his sydney house" all his cuteness i forgot that i was going to be meeting his bandmates soon, suddenly a flash of panic went over my face, and i'm sure he saw my facials cause he asked me if i was alright, "fine" i replied. wondering whether they'd like me, if my hair was in the right place or my outfit was nice enough. Then suddenly i burst out laughing, i was sure he would be utterly confused with my emotions all over the place cause i actually was too.
"are you ok?" he asked me. "Yes. well actually i'm nervous" i replied, "what about" he looked at me intensly studying my face. "what if your bandmates don't like me" then suddenly he burst out laughing "you're amazing i don't know what's not to like about you, you're my best friend trust me they're gonna love you they're great guys". "Ok if you're sure then i trust you" i smiled.
The taxi pulled up at his sydney house, i dont know why i kept calling it his sydney house but it wasn't his adelaide house the one that he'd grown up 5 minutes away from me. anyways we stepped out of the taxi, he paid the driver still holding my hand then finely let go to grab my 100 bags well not 100 there was only 5 ok.
Julian yelled "Jayden come help me" "i'm coming" a voice replied a boy with tanned skin, dark brown hair and brown eyes walked out shirtless. I must say he was gorgeous.
He was bubbly and confident, but looking like that you could be.
"hey i'm jayden" he said "uhh... hii iimmm joorrdan but you can call me jords" i replied, making a fool of myself he burst out laughing and so did julian "she's just nervous, you know new place, new faces"
they both laughed and grabbed my bags
"hey come on jords, lets go meet the other boys" julian said
I walked to the front door, to meet the other boys nervously.
