How do I speak
One thousand tears
In just one sentence? How do I express
One thousand feelings
In just one expression?Perhaps I could,
But I fear that the pain, torture
Would disrupt the balance of the flood inside me.Ripples from mine occasionally glide to other people's floods.
Their personalities and thoughts perfectly reflecting in their still water.
Faces frozen in time.
They only unfreeze when I freeze,
When I try and be like them.So I try and catch all the tears,
All the feelings,
And put them all inside one, single bottle.
But I fear that one day the bottle will overflow,
And I won't have enough room inside me anymore for the flood.Every now and then, when I've captured all my tears, my feelings
I store it away, safely.
Not for later, not at any point in time. Never to be seen again. But the feelings protest
And crack
And spill into other people's floods.
Finally I can't control my own,
And I break free, bursting through my cage and into someone else's.
But a cage can not hold what's not there.I was never a flood, more of a lone boat.
Sailing into the mist, the distance, the unknown.
Sailing on, determined, for the rest of eternity.(Original)
