29-uncertainty of identity

I am everyone, and everyone is me
What you don't get is what you see.
The world's spinning but I'm frozen in place...
My mind a never-ending toxic race.

Society rises and falls like mountains across the horizon, but the sun never comes up.
Darkness forbids us get it is also a constant reassurance.
One I'll always believe.

What do I want and what do I not
Who needs this, who needs what
Alarm bells ring every time I make a decision;
Because I'm really not sure if it's me or someone else deciding.
