Chapter 8 knowing

I woke up at sweet apple acres all I could do was think... think... think about last night. the way fluttershy kissed me... the way rainbow stood in shock and the way I couldn't get fluttershy and dash out of my head.

Fluttershy was such a good kisser but I couldn't think about that now.

I was surprised because she hadn't kissed anypony like that since she was with rainbow dash. we all new fluttershy and dash had a relationship before and strangely enough when they dated fluttershy wasn't so shy.

Around two weeks before twilight and spike came to ponyville fluttershy flew up to RD house and walked into her living room. rainbow dash was lay there in soaring arms holding him as tight as he we holding her. she flew home without confronting anypony and when she got home she sobbed so much that it felt like her heart had broke in two.

The next day dash came to fluttershys cottage and told her that she was braking up with her. she explained that she was still bisexual but she was sick of well... the same gender fluttershy understood what she ment. from then on fluttershy never intruded or asked to many questions in fear that she would be as sad as she was before and yet she wanted to be with her again.

Questions raced through my mind.

Rainbow wouldn't choose us both but she wouldn't leave both of us, who would she choose?

Did she even like me in that way?

Was I just being used against fluttershy to make her jealous?

I had to get the truth I needed to confront her and put my mind at rest for once and for all.

What was rainbow going to do?

I galloped to sugarcube corner in hope of seeing rainbow dash, but instead I could only see pinkie pie baking a new batch of cupcakes of which I had never seen. I didn't know why but I wanted more than anything for RD to say that she wanted me but needed a way to make sure that would happen. I needed a plan to get fluttershy out of the picture...

"Howdy pinkie have you seen rainbow around these part by any chance?"

"Enope hahasnortlehahaha" she said mimicking Big Mac.

"Aww well, what's this ya baking then?"

"Some new poison joke cupcakes, ya want some huh huh do ya do ya?"

I saw my opportunity and took it... I wasn't going to risk losing dash.

"Sure I've got a relative coming to town that would love some!"

"Okie dokie apple pokie, how many do ya want?"

"Two in all pinkie it's only for one person."

"Okay here ya goooooo, cya round apple doodle!"

"Bye pinkie!"

I galloped to the everfree forest to pick some more poison joke. when I picked it I ground it up and sprinkled it over the cupcakes to double the dosage... I couldn't wait, after all who would date flutterguy...

After I put the cakes on the door step and rang the bell I hid behind a bush and watched hoping that this would be my ticket to be with rainbow.

"Hey fluttershy, there's a package here for you."

I had no idea of what was going on. rainbow dash answered the door to the cottage.

"It says dear fluttershy, I hope that there will be no hard feelings once dash makes her choice. yours sincerely applejack."

"Oh okay bring it in... I hope she really means what she said about no hard feelings."

Rainbow closed the door and I ran over to the open window of the cottage and listened.

" Don't worry she's a reasonable pony shell understand, I mean she sent you a gift she can't be mad at you"

"I know dash but what if that's just a disguise for how much she hates me now for kissing her, it will only make it worse when she finds out that you chose me... oh I'm so worried."

"Calm down flutters here have your cake and ill have one. applejack will understand, I'm sure of it."

I guess she had made up her mind then. she had picked fluttershy over me, it felt like my world had just crumbled all the questions flooded back into my mind.

What was going to happen now, I had know Idea...
