Chapter 10 the notes

I left notes on each of their doors, I stuck one on fluttershys door and thunderlane helped me put the note one rainbow dashes door without reading it.i left them both different notes, but they still got the same message across. it was right that they new the truth...

Fluttershys note replayed in my mind

Dear fluttershy, your life with rainbow dash is just begging and I fear I will be a burden on your relationship. for as you share happiness I only feel pain to what I could have had, I know what I'm doing is right for me and the happiness of you and dashie.

By the time you get this note I will have jumped off the ponyville bridge leaving all this behind and you can have a amazing life full of adventure with rainbow. giving the circumstances I believe that I should tell you the truth, I always love you flutters and even in the face of death I will think of you.

As I thought about rainbow I re read her letter in my mind.

Dear rainbow dash, I write this letter in my final hour. your life with flutters is just begging and I don't want to make things awkward between us so I am ending it. each day I see you and your love and admiration for fluttershy grows and that makes my sadness grow even more.

The pain I feel right now is worse than death and so I am giving up. I hope your life with her is full of happiness and joy... and I know you don't like good byes so let's just call this cya later. I love you and I hope this doesn't sadden you because I do this to make your life with fluttershy better. you will always be in my heart forevermore,

Even though I new fluttershy would be present in my mind in the face of death I also new rainbow would be in my mind for she was always there...

I galloped to the bridge and I sat on the edge and just as I was about to push myself I heard a cracked shriek.

"STOP...please you don't need to do this..."

It was fluttershy, a shaken, crying and distraught fluttershy.

"But my life's a mess I need to and it's for your happiness..."

"Everyone goes through tough times..." she said as she twisted her front leg to reveal cuts all the way up her leg almost touching her chest.

"But we can all get throught them." she came and hugged me as she pulled me back on to the ground. we stood both crying in the pouring rain and hugging each other as she continued to speak.

"You were honest with me and I need to be honest with you now, I love you applejack... all this with rainbow dash means nothing when I look into your eyes"

"M...m...me too flutters..."

We stood in each others embrace on the bridge where I was going to end it all and hide myself from this amazing truth...

Just at that moment rainbow dash frantically swooped down screaming my name.

"APPLEJACK! WHERE ARE YOU?"

" I'm here dash..."

She galloped to me and ignored fluttershy as she held me tight in her arms.

"Never.... never do this to me again you crazy mare I was so worried about you I couldn't bare to think about a world without you even if we are not dating your still my best friend and I could never lose you..."

Tears steamed down her face as fluttershy walked to us.

"Rainbow dash there's something I need to tell you... I love applejack and there's not much in equestria that could change that and I'm so sorry that I messed around like this I just couldn't bare to see either of you hurt I just."

"Flutters I don't mind, I know exactly how you feel stop panicking you've hurt neither of us she's all yours..."

Rainbow dash said to her after cutting her off.

Fluttershy hugged rainbow and then ran to me, all of us stood in the rain on that bridge with tears streaming down our faces...
