Chapter 7 taking it hard

Twilights POV

"Hey fluttershy, there's something we need to talk about."

"Oh um...what is it twilight."

We stood in a row I was I between rairity and pinkie pie. we looked down at the anticipating fluttershy.

"You might take this hard... you should take a seat."

Pinkie pie and rairity left as fluttershy and I sat down.

"There's been some suspicions lately and well we thought It would be right to make you aware of them to."

We sat in comfortable silence until I began to speak again.

"We have come to believe that rainbow dash and applejack are... lesbians."

I showed her the evidence.

This time the silence was uncomfortable.

Fluttershy whimpered and ran out of the library sobbing uncontrollably.she took off and I watched as she flew off to what looked like rainbow dashes cloud house. I was not worried about fluttershy, after all she isn't the kind of pony to confront anypony.

Applejacks POV

I lay comfortably on rainbow dashes bed unaware of the incoming fluttershy. rainbow dash galloped in to her room and screamed "hide!"

I hid in the bathroom as I heard the door slam open.

"It's true! isn't it rainbow dash" a startled voice shouted. from what I could hear it was fluttershy, I listened carefully.

"I...i don't know what you mean fluttershy... what's true"

"Oh save it rainbow! I've seen the evidence" I could hear the rough commanding tone of her but the weak uncontrollable sobbing overpowered the anger.

"What evidence?" rainbow questioned worriedly.

"The photos pinkie took on the way to the train!"

My expression shrunk in shock.

"I bet you thought you could play us both at the same time and win like always, well not this time. where is she!"

"Who?"

"Applejack, the better girl, the one who obviously is better than me!"

The last straw had been drawn I needed to know what that crazy mare was talking about. I walked into the room and fluttershy shot me daggers as she scoured the room.

"So there she is, applejack. the element of honesty. I bet you didn't even think about the elements whilst you lied to our faces, did you?"

There was a silence. my ignorance to the elements was foolish but now was not the time.

"That's what I thought you would say. so applejack you've betrayed your element has rainbow?"

Before I could talk she jumped in with her answer all the while rainbow stood watching. all the while I was confused. all the while fluttershy got closer to me with every word she spoke.

"Well I bet you'd like to know that your not alone honesty because loyalty, turns she's not that loyal... to either of us. At the gala and whilst we were in canterlot I bet she was your everything and you were both in love, well the night we got back to ponyville she came to my house and told me I was her only love. We loved each other before you came along she told me I was her everything but I guess rainbow just isn't loyal anymore and you both must be sick of your elements... huh?"

She was so close to my face. I looked at rainbow dash who was doing nothing to help. I was worried if our always had just ran out and she wanted fluttershy who was now sobbing so much that her shouts had became cracked with tears. I had to say something.

"Sugarcube is this true?" rainbow dash nodded.

"I'm not a liar applejack maybe we should swap elements I can be honesty and you can be kindness that would be more accurate!" fluttershy continued to shout sarcastically.

"Listen, just calm down all I want is to make rainbow dash happy so she can choose between us" I suggested.

"No applejack... it's too hard I want both of you and that why I told neither of you it's my fault" rainbow said guiltily.

"Applejack all I want is to make rainbow happy too, and you seem like a reasonable mare and she can't decide so can I put a suggestion forward?" fluttershy questioned.

"Of course sugarcube go ahead." I waited for her response.

She crashed her lips onto mine and passionately kissed me. I couldn't believe it. rainbow looked in disbelief as we made out against the wall in her living room. she had made the situation much more complicated but I knew this was rainbows decision, me, fluttershy, neither of us or both of us. but it wasn't my problem anymore so I relaxed and stopped resisting and began to kiss her back.
