Chapter 2 the question

I followed rainbow to the top of the bank without questioning . We reached the top and we blushed harder than before and gripped my hat harder than before I could tell she was nervous.

"Now c'mon sugarcube I hate to see you like this just ask me I won't laugh."

"Promise..." She said bearly in a whisper.

"Cross my heart and hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye".

"Okay applejack, we have had so much fun together lately and well I've been feeling like this for a while now and I was just well kinda wondering if you felt the same way as me.... That there is a connection stronger than friendship here..."

There was a silence.

"I...Im surprised rainbow I didn't think you we're that kinda pony. I mean t'aint bad or nutin I'm just shocked."

"It's okay applejack really I understand I'll just go home I'm sorry if I was to forward with you..."

"Aw, now, sugarcube don't be sore... T'aint nothin' personal. Mah barn door just don't swing that way"

"It's okay applejack I wouldn't take it personal i understand that your just not into that stuff."

"It's okay you just read me wrong that's all, your still mah best gurl."

"I'm so sorry for feeling like this... I ..."

"Honestly sugarcube its fine I understand that you carnt change your feelings for somepony no matter how hard you try, now here take these and get on your way it's getting dark and I have a lot preparations for tomorrow night to sort so I guess I'll see you when we meet at rairetys place?"

"Sure applejack see you then oh and thanks for saying those things you have made me feel a lot better oh and thanks for the extra ruby delicious, night!"

"Wait rainbow dash you forgot this the other day!"

I handed her the sunglasses she had left when she visited last week it made me think about all these great times I have had with rainbow and decided to kiss her cheek lightly to say good night I had never done it before but it felt okay to do it.
