It's been seven days since Colin--nevermind that. My parents have began to worry about me seeing that I stopped leaving the house. No one seems to understand how afraid I truly am! Who was the one that went into the hosptial with him? Who had to say there final goodbyes to the love of their life at 20!? No-- not them, me, I had to say goodbye to my Colin and now they want answers they want to question me?! Some of the police officers and wondering if I'm the who who did it! I don't even remember coming home that night!

"Rose, sweetie, come on we're going to lose the cab!" called my friend Lee-ann while I was finishing the last touches of my make-up. "Leelee i'm coming beauty takes time!!" Laughing I replied back to her. "You're beautiful let's go!" leelee huffed becoming unpatient, "Colin--is waiting!!!"
I had almost forgotten about Colin I was so preoccupied fixing my light pink lipstick. He is waiting for us at the corner pub like always--and i'm always late. I rushed down the stairs and met up with leelee. "Do I really look beautiful?" I asked knowing how honest she is. "Rose you look fantastic you could stoop a room! Even with a room full of players you could get them to kiss your hand love! Now let's go they won't wait forever!"
We rode in the cab to the little corner pub where me and Colin met. I am too young to drink but, I like to eat here it's rather homey too me. When I met Colin he was the chosen driver for his friends so he was sober. We talked all night and before he left he kissed my hand. I was so intrigued by this man and surprisingly the next three Friday nights after that he came to just talk with me at a hole-in-the-wall corner pub. Colin is quite the charmer!
As we arrived at the pub Leelee gazed at my ring as she helped me out the cab. Leelee smiled and hand in hand we walked into our favorite spot.
Lee-ann Jules is a super bubbly, unpatient red-head, who I love like a sister. She's always been here for me I thought as we met with Colin. She's literally been with me through everything and I don't know what i'd do without her!
Colin hugged Leelee and then embraced me with a soft kiss to my cheek. "Hello, love. You look fantifico" he whispered in my ear before pulling away. I blushed, i'm rather bashful, especially around him. "C'mon love birds lets get groovy!!!" We both laughed and followed Leelee to the dance floor.
Needles where sticking out of my neck and back as a calm voice told me to remain still. I jerk only to go into immense pain. "GET THESE OUT OF ME AND LEAVE ME BE!" I roared at the calm man that I couldn't see. He moved to show me his face and smiled just slightly and his golden-honey eyes set on my face. "I'm sorry Rose, it's the doctors order. I can put you back to rest if you like, or we could calmly chat." he was so calm I watched his every move and finally after thinking it over for a good, what seemed to be 10 minutes, I replied " As long as you take these needles out of me! They are my biggest fear!" I said this in a quiet whisper and his light pink lips turned to a line "Rose i'll make you a deal, if you relax and chat with me i'll take them out but, you have to promise to answer my questions the best you can." I nodded at him and winced a little at the sight of the needles just barely out of my sight.
"What's your name?" almost unaudibly I asked. He heard me though "My name is John DuKane. I'm 23. I'm from New Hampshire. Now what about you Rose?" Slowly John said all of this to me as if he had a hudred times before. "How many times have we had this conversa-" he interrupted me "Eleven times but, everytime I got a little more information out of you and then you would black out Rose." he looked down as if saddened or upset. "John where did I last leave off?" It's pointless to start over again. "You last told me about when Colin asked you to marry him at the Ice-Cream shop after a stroll in the park but, you never finished the story. As to be completely honest with you I think it's a really sweet story." he blushed a light rosey red and smiled flashing white teeth. I began to remember the day I had lost Colin and began to sob quietly.
Then there was nothing.
