Darius left Demetri's house feeling happy that he made the decision to head over there in the first place. Darius usually didn't get out much. The therapy session he would have with Dr. Rebecca would leave him depressed and wanting to be alone for days, sometimes weeks. But figuring that this time he was able to get out and enjoy himself, made him believe a little more in Dr. Rebecca's tactics.
As he was heading home, the night began to fill the sky like a large shadow to a small room. Soon after, the stars illuminated the darkness with its radiant glow. Darius began his stride back through the woods to get back home. The little cul-de-sac that Darius lived in didn't have an entrance or an exit; just tall dry canopy oak trees scattered around and surrounding it; isolating their neighborhood's existence from the world.
The swallowing darkness of the opaque woodlands was unvarying and unnerving but Darius wasn't bothered by it. Unlike many, Darius wasn't afraid of the dark; it was soothing to him and helped him think when he needed it. From time to time, Darius would cast his gaze towards the moon and stars as they sat vibrantly in the distant sky.
The more his gaze stayed, the brighter the glimmering effervescent sky shined as some of the small and airy balls of light seemed to stroll the atmosphere to every step that Darius took as though following him home. As he got back to his neighborhood, he noticed that Sedya was standing at the sliding glass door to her room. Her hand slightly held the solid black window curtain open enough for the light from the lamp in her room to cast out a large shadow of her. She didn't move, she just stood there completely still and staring with the same look of anger she always has. Attempting to break the awkwardness, he gently brought his hand up and waved towards Sedya. She didn't wave back; she just turned away and walked off; leaving the window curtain to come swinging down to a close and moments later turning her light off.

"Okay, I guess," Darius muttered under his breath.

Darius walked into the house, quietly closed the front door' in hopes not to wake his Aunt, and began heading to his room. He was set apart as his mind and eyes connected their attention to the greenhouse door. He stood there glaring for a second as the faint flickering blue light coming from under the greenhouse door brought up memories reminding him of the recent lucid dream. Everything within himself wanted him to go into the greenhouse again and see if what he felt he imagined was real but he digressed and went to his room instead. When he got in his bed in his room, he laid down on his back, placing his hands underneath his head. His mind started to wander in circles as his eyelids started to feel heavy and began to sink over his eyes, slowly drifting him off to sleep.
Darius! (His father's voice shouted in a whisper)
Darius's eyes opened quickly as he laxly laid in his bed. He just laid there taking in the rays from the morning sun shining in through the window blinds. The tantalizing sound of his father's voice echoed throughout his mind but sadly, Darius had gotten used to the hauntings of his past memories as they began clawing at the fiber of his being; attempting to terrorize his sanity. He felt as if he needed something to take his mind off all of it; Clearing him of his troubling thoughts. Then he remembered that there was a stream in the forest and that just the thought of it made him smile. Darius got dressed and rushed out to the house and went into the forest in search of his blissful stream. Darius always enjoyed being in the forest. The sound of the chirping birds, the rustling of the dried leaves and the smell of damp moss and fresh pine throughout the forest always had a way of easing his mental anguish. Darius casually strolled through the woods; maneuvering around bushes, patches of green and golden brown foliage and small branches spread throughout the forest floor; all the while trying to keep his footing while walking over the slightly moist grass. He finally came up to the small stream and instantly felt its tranquil charm as the calm water flowed elegantly across the smooth rocks in the riverbed. He found a spot up against a large oak tree facing the stream. He sat down, got himself settled in and could already feel his tension depleting and his thoughts easing. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw something off in the distance slightly peeking out from behind a tree towards his direction. It seemed like it was a person; a girl. He got up and crept back around the tree he was leaning on; slowly and silently getting closer to the mysterious girl he had seen. When he was close enough, he could see that the girl that was sitting next to the tree was Sedya. She was moving her hand back and forth as a faint light trailed behind it.. He, as quietly as he could, took another step forward in an attempt to have her in her hand but mistakenly stepped on a twig causing an echo that alarm Sedya. The echo from it snapping carried throughout the forest. Sedya quickly responded to the sound as she jumped up and hid behind the tree she was sitting next to.
