Between Yes' and No's

Computer Room

Minerva's POV

"Oh no dear you have to clean up, good bye and good luck" and with that Mrs. Norris left us. I started cleaning the shelves. "Hey Minerva?"
"Yeah?"
"Im sorry for making you go to detention."
"Its okay..." when i say its okay calmly i mean im not! My parents are gonna kill me for this. Im a bit okay spending a little time with him alone. What what?! No, no, no. When i remembered it, i immediately texted Colleen to take Sam with him and told Sam to go with colleen home since i have to do something for 'extra credit' even though i dont need to.

"Its okay with me. What are you doing anyways?" I got a reply from colleen, "i need stay for school till 6pm for extra credit" i replied, i seriously hate lying. "Okay.."

"Sam, you have to go home with colleen now. I need to stay at school till 6 for something."
"Yeah"

"Minerva, i have something to ask you." He said braking the barrier of silence. "Hmm?"
"Its, -its nothing really" "oh, okay" i just said that to end this conversation but i really know something's bothering him.

As i was in the middle of cleaning the computer i heared a groan of pain from inside the walk in closet full of old dusty computer things. When i went inside i saw Maxell crouching on the floor and ........crying? I've never seen him so emotional.

"Hey, is everything okay?" I asked approaching him. "I dont need you pity" he said emotionless. "I know, im just here to ask if your okay. I could clean here till 10 and do your work for you so you can go home." I said concerned written all over my face. He stood up and walked pass by me bumping my shoulder a bit. "Lets start cleaning so we can leave in a few minutes." He said coldly "o-okay-y"

A few minutes passed and Mrs. Norris opened the door and snucked her head out, "Times up! You can go now." She said "okay, thank you." With that she nod her head and went out. I was about to close the last opened window when it started to rain.
"Oh good.It's raining." Maxell said full of sarcasm. "Well, i can take you home." I offered. "My house is in the opposite way to your house." He rejected but i being my pretty and kind self forced him to go with me.

"How bout we go to dinner and i take you to your house?" I said stubbornly. "I said no-----" he said but i tugged him out of the computer room. "I know, i know." I said while pushing him to the shot gun seat of my car. "You're stubborn." I was greeted with his blank face when i entered my car. "Yeah, you'll thank me later." And with that i winked and started my engine.

After a 10 minute drive which seemed like forever i smiled as we arrived at Pablio's Place. "What are we doing here?" Maxell said with a blank face. "Duh, dinner. What else?" I said as we both exit my car.

"WHAT?! ARE THEY FEEDING US GRASS OR SOMETHING? Minerva your family is wealthy, you could afford more than this." Was all Maxell could say after looking at the menu. "Shut it." I said sternly. "I bet you 10 dollars for a bad food." He said "then, I'll get you 15 dollars and we will eat somewhere more expensive." I bet him with a smirk. "Your on!" He said while i give him a "bring it on".

Once our food was serve i immediately looked at him and noticed that his face softened after he looked at the food. When he noticed me he immediately changed it to a more straightforward look. "Hmm, looks like someone changed something." I teased.
"Shut it'' he said and grabed a little amount of Spaghetti as i did the same but of course i took a lot.

I kept sending him glances ones in a while saying "i think he liked it" to my self. After we were done i looked at him and found him already doing the same to me, he was smiling which melted my heart into a little puddle. "Did you enjoy the 'GRASS' they fed us?" I questioned him. "I think i did." He said with a pleasing smile. "Then?" I said raising an eyebrow. "What?" He said in the same tone "you forgot something" i sang in a random tune. "I can't seem to remember anything" he sang in the same random tone. "Maybe you need a remembral" i teased he hit my arm playfully and run to the counter to pay the bill. "Hey!" I said and ran after him.

When we got into the car and i was about to go in the driver's seat when he carried me bridal style and put me in the front seat. "Hey!" I slapped him playfully. He just laughed and planted a small peck of kiss on my cheeks. My cheecks heated up, but i just shrugged it. He closed my door and sat in the driver's seat then taking the keys from my hand. He then took his phone and did something in it then got a reply soon.

"Okay." He said with satisfaction. "Okay what?" I asked clearly confused. "Ready for a trip to forever?" He answered. "To where?" My stubborn self kept asking. "Just watch and see" he said and started the engine. "You mean watch and learn?" I kept irritating the guy with me. "Shut it" he said clearly irritated. "Hey that's my line!" I kept irritating him. "Technically, I'd send you a fire back. But I just dont think now is a right time to argue with a perfectly stubborn person" he said in satisfaction. "Hey! Who you calling stubborn?" I said and sent him a deathly glare. "I'm a girl and were in a car but I can tangle you!" I said.

"Is that a threat?"
"Oh, your really getting it."
"Baby maybe not now"
"Shut it." We both said in unison

And with that our conversation end. I looked out the window noticing this is not a familiar neighborhood I was about to ask Maxell but he seemed happy. So I decided to stay put.

Maxell's POV

I were driving silently after our adorable argument. I was about to ask her something when I notice her already sleeping, her head in the seat belt, her mouth slightly ajar and she looks cute.

"Oh maxell what are you doing? You'll just ruin her" my mind spoke "yeah, maybe I shouldn't bother her" I mumbled to my self.

Minerva's POV

I was awoken from my little slumber and sat properly "how was your beauty rest?" He asked. "Hmm, dont mind" I looked out the window and noticed there were no buildings in sight and all you can see are trees. "Maxell," I started "hmm?" He answered but I decided to keep myself shut. "Just ask him!" My mind spoke but i fight the urge to do so.

"Were here." And with that we stopped and hopped out of the car. I felt Maxell's arm in my waist. "Maxell, this- this is bea-beautiful" I said in awe and hugged him
