PART 1
"Thank you for coming! Please come visit us again!"
Uraraka breathes out an exhausted sigh. That's the last customer to appear this afternoon. She can finally relax for the time being.
The eighteen year old works at Suzuki Café, a popular café in the city. They sell coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, desserts and well, you know what cafés bring to the table.
She has been working here for three years now – starting off at sixteen wasn't easy, considering she was only a freshmen in high school and found it hard to balance her studies and work.
But with a little motivation (namely her poor conditions and her parents) she quickly became the breadwinner of the family and aimed at earning enough money to take care of all of them.
Her parents still manage to pay for her school fees (perks of being an only child) but she still works hard to pay for everything else she needed.
One of the things being her college funds. She wants to become a lawyer. She knows the study course wouldn't be easy but she is willing to do it if it meant that in the future, she and her parents can lead better lives.
Which is another reason why she also works the night shift. She does her homework during her free periods at school (and sometimes during her lunch breaks) so she can always give her best performance at the café.
She only ever has her parents, school and her future on her mind 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year...
"I wonder where marriage falls into that..." Uraraka mutters to herself, taking a seat at a vacant table, fooling around with her phone.
Marriage has never crossed her mind once until now. It's never something she considers or even thinks about.
"Maybe I can just marry a rich guy and all my troubles will go away..." The brunette chuckles dryly.
The idea seems preposterous to her. She can't just get married without having a freaking job! It's just too absurd. Regardless, it's very tempting.
"Marriage, huh? Who would marry me?" Uraraka asks herself.
She doesn't find herself specifically special. She's just so plain and ordinary. She's so boring.
"Well, at least Deku thinks I'm fun. He always laughs when I say something. I never get it." The brunette smiles at the thought of him. That green haired man with big round eyes and cute freckles and smooth words...
Her face begins to heat up.
"I wonder...if he'd...he'd consider...if he'd consider marrying me?" She says aloud without even thinking. Her face reddens even more once it came out.
