"Put the blindfold on."

There was something in his voice that made her look at him with shocked, widened eyes. "Why?"

"What's the point of putting a blindfold on if I tell you why you're putting it on?" He smiled at her.

He did have a point.

Jihye didn't say anything as she thought of what he could be planning to do. He startled her by touching her hand over the central console. "Do you trust me?"

"Of course." It didn't take her a second to reply.

"Then put it on." His voice was softer than before. "I don't intend to do any harm to you."

Jihye decided to take her leap of faith and tied it around her eyes. She could sense Jungkook edging closer to her, and felt his hand on her nose checking if it was tied properly.

"And don't you dare cheat." His warm breath fanned her face and she realized just how close his face was. Then, he took advantage of her temporary blind condition and without any warning, kissed the tip of her nose.

It was a very quick peck but just enough to cause Jihye's heart to beat rapidly. He went back to his former position and started driving but Jihye couldn't shake away the feel of his lips on her nose.

After a while, when she was finally going back to normal, she heard Jungkook's voice, but not speaking to her. The car halted. Jungkook was speaking to someone over the phone.

Little did she know, it was her own brother.

"Jungkookie, you couldn't have chosen a better time to call," Jimin's voice was full of sarcasm.

"Why? Are you busy with something?"

"I am. And that 'something' is coming out to my parents."

"Wait, what?"

"Yoongi and I are going to tell them right now."

"But I'm on my way," Jungkook lowered his voice. "To where you are now."

"Is my sister with you?"

"Yes."

"Then cross your fingers and hope everything goes well."

"Okay, I'll call you when we get there," Jungkook replied. "Best of luck."

Jungkook ended the call and started driving again. Jihye couldn't help but feel curious. "Who were you talking to?"

"That's a secret, honey." She could almost see the smirk etched on his face, the smirk she was unexpectedly growing fond of.

And instead of hiding her face like usual, she smiled, too. Although Jungkook focused on the road, he couldn't help but notice it. "Change of behaviour? I love that you're getting so into it," he said, not taking his eyes off the road.
