[8:25 AM, Gatewater Hotel]

"I should probably visit him.." he said as he dresses into his blue blazer, he turns around to see Dahlia, still sleeping peacefully. He wrote a note before leaving and quietly exits the room. Without realizing, she was awake the whole time, hearing his plan makes her rages in jealously. She slowly gets up, reading the note and crumples it. "Edgeworth.. Mark my words.. You will die by my very own hands!"

As he arrives at Edgeworth's house, he knocks the door without hesitant.
Silence. Just silence.
He arched an eyebrow and knocks the door again. Suddenly he realized the door was already unlock, "Odd.. Did Edgeworth forgot to lock the door?" he creaks the door open. The house was almost too quiet, too quiet to be true. "Edgeworth? Are you here?" he scans around the house, finding dirt on the floor. The shoe size wasn't Edgeworth's size, he examines more and found handprints on the red-velvet couch.

He immediately hears a faint cry and whimpers down the hallway, he sprints closer to the sound. "Edgeworth?" a whimper came again, he scans around, noticing fur on the floor and immediately notice it was Pess! He grabs the wounded puppy and rips the tape around it's snout, "What happen?! Where's Edgeworth?" The puppy continues to cry and whimper, "Fuck, I'll take care of your wound buddy.." he quickly washes the puppy's wounds with water, grabbing the aid kit on the counter drawer.
He takes a piece of cotton, pouring rubbing alcohol on it and dabs it on the poor puppy's wound, "Hold still for me buddy." he assures the small puppy as he slowly continues to dab the cotton against the puppy's wound. After wrapping bandages around it's leg. He scans the puppy's memory;
"What should we do now?"
"We'll bring him, but be careful. We don't wanna tie him too tight, got it?"
"Fuck! That stupid dog, shut'em up! He'll be awake sooner or later!"
As Phoenix observes, the man pulls out his pocket knife and grabs the puppy roughly, slowly cutting it's legs.
He clenches his jaw,
"C'mon! We tied him up, carry him!"
He exits the puppy's memory, banging the floor with both of his balled fists, managing to break the floor. He was raging with fury, but, he couldn't help tearing up as his tears slowly runs down from his eyes, dripping onto the floor. "Fucking human!" he gets up, gently holding Pess into his arms, "First, I'll bring you to Mia." he said, he wipes the tears off his cheeks and breathes out.

[9:09 AM, Mia's House]
[August 6, 4038]
"His wounds is clearly infected, he won't be able to walk. It's gonna take him several days until he manage to walk again, but you did a great job healing him. He could've died." she explains to Phoenix as he listens closely, "Listen.. Mia, I need you to take care of him while I'm gone. This is something important but I will explain to you once I'm finished with everything." he said, she nodded. He waves at the both sisters and he left.
"If I could scan those dirts.. I can trace them down easily.." he wonders to himself, "It could have been wiped away already, dammit!" he smacks the brick wall beside him as it crumbles down to pieces. "Why am I so freaking stupid!" he smacks his head against the brick wall and people on the streets looks at the boy shockingly. "How the hell am I suppose to find him?"

"Wakey wakey little Prince" a soft voice whispers onto his right ear, he instantly flutter his eyes open in shock. As he tries to move, he realize he was tied. "H-hey! Where am I?! Let me go!" he shouted, the man stood in front of him.
That face..
"That's right, it's me! Your lover. Can't believe you ditch me for that bitch! See, now that I have you~" the man raises the boy's chin, "You can see him in your very own eye, killed by me!" he laughs maniacally. Edgeworth could not say anything, he can't move. He felt hopeless, paralyzed. "But I shall not worry about that tin can in the moment, now that I have you-" the man grins hideously, "I can do whatever I want, to your petite pale body." he licks his lips, Edgeworth looks away. Disgusted.
"Don't you dare to hurt him!" he shouted, "What did you say? I should.. Hurt him? Slaughter him and crush his body off?" The man rests both his palms on Edgeworth's thighs, squeezing them. "Listen! If you obey me, I won't hurt him. Is that a deal?" Edgeworth clenches his jaw while looking away, but the man force a pull on Edgeworth chins, making him facing towards the man.
"So, it's a deal?"
There was a long pause. Edgeworth breathes out and reluctantly reply
If it's only for Phoenix then..
"Deal."
